@@mtbradford20 they've been able to operate full capacity for a very long time now, and the ride was paid for by august 2020. the issue was, the park was already hitting normal capacity constantly during 2021, so the seaworld chain saw it as a bad business decision to open a new ride to try and attract people at a time when those people were already through the gates. supposedly, the park itself wanted it to open in 2021, but the board at seaworld said no.
@@twistedgwazi5727 Busch Gardens even announced it was going to open Spring 2021 after the 2020 opening got delayed due to the pandemic (I got photos I took of the banners). So, imagine a drop on Goliath, Mako, Fury 325, etc., then imagine yourself getting thrown left, right, and up. This is what this ride feels like. Incredible
This is the best roller coaster yet. I am a homer for Fury at carowinds so it took a lot for me to admit this. The elements in this ride are well synced and it leaves you without desire.
I can still remeber that feeling of dropping down, it never gets old. Ive ridden that atleast 5 times or 6, and not once did i ever get used to the feeling!
My brother rode this when he was younger than I am now, but back when it was wooden. My family and I plan on going back to Busch Gardens soon to ride this coaster- I was hyped until I saw how fast it went- though that first drop doesn't look too scary. I'm not one for airtime, which I assume is the feeling of leaving your seat- and I hear this coaster has it. The "most" roller coaster I went on at Busch Gardens was the scorpion- my first coaster with a loop-de-loop
I rode it Today, and broo the air time was INTENSE. And this ride is 15 miles FASTER than the original gwazi. This ride is not for the faint of heart that’s for sure. 😂
I just left there about two hours ago ill say these videos DO NOT DO ANY JUSTICE on how badass this ride is!!! From first drop to the final break its all speed, power airtime, you feel like you about to go this way but tracks go other way or flip you upside down lol. Might be my #2 behind incredible hulk! Very smooth too!
I’ve been to Cedar Point, I’ve been on all the greats around the world, Kingda Ka, Nitro, Steel Vengence, Maverick etc, this is the BEST ride I’ve ever been on. Must ride front row. I rode it 4 times, the time of my LIFE.
It's a good ride and has some nice airtime and an amazing drop. Still would rank Steel Vengeance above it as my top RMC as that ride is longer, does a lot more in a wood structure, and just feels wilder. It's just what often happens with Busch Gardens vs Cedar Point where the Cedar Point coasters always feel a bit more intense whether the precede or trail the Busch Gardens models - Raptor's compact layout makes it feel much wilder than Montu, Maverick is definitely more intense than Cheetah Hunt, Valravn is taller and does more than Sheikra, and Steel Vengeance is longer and wilder than Iron Gwazi. All those coasters listed are all GREAT but Busch Gardens usually favors slightly tamer layouts in Tampa that can be considered a bit more family friendly.
Agreed for the most part, except for Montu. Riding back left makes every element was brutally forceful and if the trim before the batwing barely hits, it feels like your feet are going to be torn off. The only invert out of the 7 I've been on to make me consistently grey out.
@@JohnDoe-hx9vm I agree with your statement. Montu was much more intense for me than Raptor. Otherwise, Busch Gardens Tampa's versions are not as wild as Cedar Point's.
@@legozelda2090 oh for sure. Cedar Point has possibly the wildest collection of rides in the world, though. Some parks may have individually more intense rides, like X2 or I305, but top to bottom, CP is absolutely stacked. Frontier Town alone has more intense rides than most parks' entire lineup.
A typically superb RMC coaster conversion; this new track system is a miracle for old, tired woodies. I'd insert a Viagra joke here, but I'm too good a person.
Took a day trip to Tampa from Orlando to visit Busch Gardens on 3/30 with the purpose of riding Iron Gwazi. Let me just say that this coaster is not for the faint of heart. The first drop is made more terrifying as you literally creep over the top of the lift hill and then suddenly plunge down. And that's not even the most intense part of the ride. It's what comes after that is absolutely wild as this coaster is unrelenting in speeding through one element after the other hurling you through dips, barrel rolls, death rolls, and enough sudden twists to leave you either totally exhilarated or totally worn out. It was one of the most intense coasters i've ever ridden. A total juggernaut.
This ride looks sick!!! However, I don’t think it’ll beat velocicoaster Edit: I went on it just recently and it was freakin nuts. But velocicoaster still takes the cake for best coaster in Florida
Yes! Velocicoaster was by far the scariest for me, then gwazi second. Something about when there’s only a bar on your lap that makes it terrifying like you may fly out. But velocicoaster I legit held on for my life, zero support. I legit feel like you’d fly out if you didn’t lol
Just went on this today, these videos seriously do not do it justice! The sheer thrill you get from the drops and twists is breathtaking. It’s definitely worth the wait!
This is the most awesome roller coaster in America imo... Was at Busch gardens Tampa Bay for a week... Rode it many times... It is more intense in the dark
Rode this for the first time ever yesterday (and ride it again thanks to low queue time). We managed to catch the coaster just as it opened after some lengthy downtime. This is easily the most intense coaster I've ever ridden. But at the same time, it's also one of the smoothest riding... They did a phenomenal job on this coaster. Can't wait to go again! The only thing I didn't like about it was at the top of the lift hill, a particularly large group of brown wasps had decided to make their home there, so they were dive-bombing everyone as the trains went by. We let the ride personnel know, and they said they've got an exterminator coming later that night; if they try to deal with it now, they'd have to shut it down after just getting it open.
A little secret about Iron Gwazi. If you don’t like the stomach drop feeling, sit in the front row, either row 1 or row 2. The reason why is because the ride gets slower once it reaches the lift hill and you already have a head start reaching the bottom.
Its better trust me I rode both this way better u have 90 degree drop it to a inverter then fast and furious all the threw only one can beat this is Apollo cheriet in busch garden Williamsburg

Me and my dad r going to Busch gardens together for a father son trip next week. I can’t wait to go on this ride and the many others and I am soooo excited!
Rode this coaster the day after the 4th of July this year. I've ridden many coasters in my life and with a quick queue pass I rode all of them at Busch Gardens Tampa that day. I knew it would be intense when they had me buckle in and then had a bar for my thighs and shins. No over the shoulder bar, so your arms are free. It's a smooth ride, no bouncing or being knocked side to side. Most coasters this long will give you a few seconds rest somewhere in the track. I can tell you this one does not. Once you reach the top of that first hill it's a non-stop intense ride the entire time. I enjoy coasters, but once on the IG was enough for me.
Went last summer and we rode everything but Gwazi. Rode SheiKra in the rain but it started lightning before we made it to Gwazi. Can't wait to go back and ride it!

That came and went with no opening. Then I heard it was delayed again due to staffing shortages. But now it's here and it was definitely worth the extended wait.
Just got off the coaster, front seat, INSANE !!!
I'm a roller coaster freak and this is by far the best ride I've ever been on and that's saying somthing.
So, imagine a drop on Goliath, Mako, Fury 325, etc., then imagine yourself getting thrown left, right, and up. This is what this ride feels like. Incredible
This should have won the best coaster award!
THE BEST ROLLER COASTER I’VE EVER RIDDEN HOLY CRAP THE PACING WAS SOOOO GOOD OF WHAT I WAS EXPECTING AND THAT WAVE TURN ABSOLUTELY KILLED ME!!!!!! 🐊🐊🐊
Rode this for the first time during hallowscreem a few nights ago. Simultaneously the most intense and smoothest ride I've experienced
That deathroll is freakin awesome!
This is the best roller coaster yet. I am a homer for Fury at carowinds so it took a lot for me to admit this. The elements in this ride are well synced and it leaves you without desire.
Crazy to believe it’s finally here. Looks incredible
rode this five times today. crazy to say that front row and back row were like different coasters. back row is a BEAST
Definitely best coaster video I've ever seen, amazing!!
Trust Me, You’re Going To Get a Lot Of Air Time On This Ride
I rode it Today, and broo the air time was INTENSE. And this ride is 15 miles FASTER than the original gwazi. This ride is not for the faint of heart that’s for sure. 😂
I just left there about two hours ago ill say these videos DO NOT DO ANY JUSTICE on how badass this ride is!!! From first drop to the final break its all speed, power airtime, you feel like you about to go this way but tracks go other way or flip you upside down lol. Might be my #2 behind incredible hulk! Very smooth too!
Congrats on being the first person to film the prelift!
Que gran viaje, por fin he terminado de ver todos los POV de todas las RMC de pista I-box
There is an easter egg in the coaster barn where, if you look to your right, you will see the lion and the tiger from the original Gwazi.
I noticed that when I was on the ride
I went on this last night for the first time, the drop was INSANE. Nothing like it. Best rollercoaster at Busch Gardens for sure
Wait, so you can ride theming structure 1 now?
Yep. It’s a lawn decoration no more
I’ve been to Cedar Point, I’ve been on all the greats around the world, Kingda Ka, Nitro, Steel Vengence, Maverick etc, this is the BEST ride I’ve ever been on. Must ride front row. I rode it 4 times, the time of my LIFE.
Insane, looks to be definitely worth the wait and hype!
Rode this a few weeks ago, all I could think about was “ludicrous speed…go!” 😂
DAMN YOU KNOW COAST FORCE HAD TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST !!!
Rode it yesterday for the first time. Man that first drop is intense !! Amazing ride.
Looks like it's smooth as silk😀
I dont know why but this channel really gives me loads of nostalgia I think its just the great and iconic intro
@@JohnDoe-hx9vm Too bad it'll be losing (or already has lost) Top Thrill Dragster...
Agree. Cedar Point is the king. Maverick is so underrated
Finally got to ride in the preview and OMG come visit us people this coaster needs to be on EVERY LIST!!!
A typically superb RMC coaster conversion; this new track system is a miracle for old, tired woodies. I'd insert a Viagra joke here, but I'm too good a person.
Lolll
However, I don’t think it’ll beat velocicoaster
Edit: I went on it just recently and it was freakin nuts.
Looks amazing!
Did this last week - it's crazy how fast this is. Shocks your brain
At Busch gardens rn abt to do this but im scared. This vid did not help
Workers told me to sit in the back, so worth it!! Was the best ride at the whole park and one of my top 3 rides ever
Back is super snappy 😂👌🏻
A little secret about Iron Gwazi. If you don’t like the stomach drop feeling, sit in the front row, either row 1 or row 2. The reason why is because the ride gets slower once it reaches the lift hill and you already have a head start reaching the bottom.
I'm the complete opposite. Whenever I ride RMC's, I find the back seat to be more enjoyable.
Insane ride. Watched this before we went on it and it still doesnt prepare you for the craziness of this thing 😂
Looks more intense than Velocicoaster.
Ya think :D
It is
@@lastone032085 theme park crazy's viewers voted velocicoaster being more intense
but talk about positive g's
I__________ 305
That is now officially a bucket list coaster for me. Wow!
Do not hesitate do not wait… Tampa is my home this is one reason why
Looks great but steel vengeance is long and has more inversions and airtime so I think steel vengeance will still be one of the best
My thoughts too. The only thing that stands out on this is the first drop and speed.
Steel vengeance was dragged out for the air time hills. If I rob gwazi tried to compete with that they would have made a dueling rmc
Does it matter? When you come off of this one are you going to say "that was great, let's ride it again", or "that sucked, let's go to Ohio"?
Its better trust me I rode both this way better u have 90 degree drop it to a inverter then fast and furious all the threw only one can beat this is Apollo cheriet in busch garden Williamsburg
I’ve been to both. Gwazi is way better
just went to busch gardens a few weeks ago, 5 minute wait time, rode it twice. being in the front is 100x better. feels way different. best roller coaster ive been on
It would have been nice if they kept the dueling function like they did with Twisted Colossus, but hey, this looks awesome
one of the most impressive coasters out there. wow. beautifully built and buttery smooth.
Please don’t be stabilized Please don’t be stabilized Please don’t be stabilized
Edit: ok at least it’s handheld that’s fine
I just rode yesterday for the 1st time. Was incredible. The 1st drop is straight down. Really cool ride!
SV is better :/
This track just runs to flat and forward it seems like compared to SV.
Maybe one day I'll get to this one but for now SteVe takes the cake.
Me and my dad r going to Busch gardens together for a father son trip next week. I can’t wait to go on this ride and the many others and I am soooo excited!
Rode this last year in November for the first time, hot lapped it two times in a row with no wait. It and VC are my top two coasters in FL.
My baby boy Sabastian rode that yesterday. He is so brave lol I Love my brave lil man so much!
Rode it today for the first time. It's the best coaster I've ever ridden. And it's not even close
Very... terrifying but OMG THE NOISE IT MAKES WHEN YOU GET ONTO THE COVEYER THAT PULLS YOU UP LIKE
Rode this shortly after it opened. This ride is on straight Beast Mode!🤘
Rode this coaster not long ago. WOW what a ride. Way to go Bush Gardens!!!
I like how you can hear the coaster getting a little air on the track in the video everytime it throws you out of your seat... 🤪🤔
1) I havent ridden a coaster in over 6 years
2) that aforementioned last coaster being rip ride rockit at universal
I just rode this for the first time today after an hour long wait and it was INCREDIBLE, this video doesnt do it justice. i literally felt like we were gonna get flung off the track with every invert and that first drop is insane. it was the first coaster to put actual fear in my heart today lol
You have to try Velocicoaster at islands of adventure in universal terrifying as hell lol. I road this one last week and was scared but that other one is still the scariest lol
This was amazing, one of the best I’ve been on
Just after riding 1 hybrid, i now feel as though i can feel the ride n my stomach in my mouth by watching lol
El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey was always my favorite rollercoaster. I rode this the other day while I was in Tampa and I have to admit this is my new favorite rollercoaster.
first rmc I ever went on and I can definitely tell why people love these cuz this is easily one of my new favorite coasters
Steel Vengeance was my first. Only thing with these two as our first RMCs is it don’t get much better than SteVe and Gwazi
Reading these and watching this right before I go on it while waiting in the line is not smart 😂
