Great video, out of the mainstream. It drives me nuts your tie is tied with the smaller/thinner blade so far below the front or show panel.
Fantastic, i thought it would be a long time yet until Kirby was back out visiting artisans. The silver looks great, its easy to see why it was so popular in 18th century dress.
I've completely stopped wearing belts in favor of braces, but this is some beautiful work indeed. I feel like the perceived formality of an item like this is highly dependent on local culture. This feels more like a southern thing to me, but I might be showing my sartorial ignorance here too. There are a few more casual outfits inspired by some of Alan Flusser's lookbooks that I was thinking about adding back into my wardrobe, which use a belt.

@@Jim58223 Yes exactly. I feel like people make it a point to use the British term "braces" instead of "suspenders" in order to distinguish them from the clip-on kind
@@Huffman_Tree Yeah, when I think braces I think buttons and button tabs. I too, much prefer them to belts. They're just better for a dozen different reasons lol.

It's a good video. The framing between the artist sitting and the interviewer standing was awkward. More close-ups of the artists hands at work, would be appreciate. The artist story, skill, and product is top notch. 👌
