- Tucked away on the south side of Massachusetts there's been this one course that I've never played. I've basically played every single course within an hour of my home, but for some reason I never stopped at Crane Hill. So I was pretty excited to check this one off the list and now I really feel like I know all of my home courses!

crane hill is 5 minutes from my house. played it probably 200 times and the best I have ever done is 8 under. simon with a smooth 11 under playing blind. very fair course - with a clean line on every hole except maybe 8. those tee signs are brand new. simon did play mountainside last year which is the other local course - he shot 13 under on the longs at the time (which actually score easier) on that course and did a video. mountainside is just the opposite kind of course with random trees literally placed in the middle of the fairway on every hole. I go there when I want to play a frustrating round. does have two tees and two baskets per hole which is nice.
Simon should learn his snakes. There are no Cottonmouth's that far up. You almost certainly saw a Northern Water Snake. Being educated about your snakes keeps you and them safe!
Paul has some serious potential. He's going to be a big name in the sport one day. We can all say "I remember watching him on Simon's channel when he was an amateur." Cool of Simon to help him showcase his talents for the disc golf community. Much like he did with Casey.
Yea he does , so does that young kid who played the glitches tournament with simon, his name was Landon. That kid is going to be a force in a couple years he can throw that glitch like a boss.

Water moccasins aren't native in MA. You likely saw harmless northern water snakes
I was wondering about that, as someone who has spent too much time looking for discs in maple hill's ponds.
@@bryanmannoia8410 The ones you aren't allowed to go looking in? "Do not enter water" signs around literally every body of water at that course.

This is my home course. Ive played about 200 rounds on it. I have been waiting YEARS for you to play here. I am so glad you finally did. This and mountainside in Monson are 2 of my favorites in Mass. Also, just a note - You played the long basket on 7 from what I saw. The short is the one to the left.
They've recently changed the short basket on 7 about 80 feet or so to the right now. Long got pushed back about 60 feet. Freaking love crane hill

Have you played clement farms near the NH line, that's place it a beautiful course definitely worth checking out if you haven't, and Bellamy park in dover is another beautiful free course to play love that place.
I really hope Simon or Ricky wins worlds this year. Vinny would be my 3rd pick.

Next time you play Eagle's Crossing, head a little bit closer to St. Louis and play New Melle Lakes. It's 50/50 wooded/open and is on an old golf course. It's by far my favorite course in the general St. Louis area.
Good point Simon about not making excuses BEFORE throwing. I need to embrace that in my own game.

Just an FYI @Simon: you do not have to worry about the snakes at Maple Hill. You are too far north for Cottonmouths, those were some sort of harmless water snakes.
Facts
Here in the Netherlands we call those "hazelworms" and are technically not snakes at all.
I came to say the same thing. Cause people actually do kill harmless water snakes cause everyone living north TN mistakes a banded water snake or black rat snake for a cotton mouth/ water moccasin. Gentle/kind Simon would not do that, but this misidentification perpetuates others less kind to do so.

The fact that Simon can throw a Delirium that far is insane. I found one of them without ink at one of my home course, and that thing is INSANELY overstable. I can throw close to 400', I'm MA2 atm, and I can throw that thing on a 40 degree anhyzer angle on backhand and it will still come out of it.

I’m sure you know this but the eclipse hex’s are also pretty stable like the proton hex’s. I’ve been doing the same thing, flippy neutron for turnovers and stabler eclipse that pushes a bit.

Great looking course. Just lacked better baskets in my opinion. We need more tournaments dedicated to a rating and all tournament fees go to baskets.
You should play the courses on Cape Cod. There are two, Oakcrest and Burgess.
