crane hill is 5 minutes from my house. played it probably 200 times and the best I have ever done is 8 under. simon with a smooth 11 under playing blind. very fair course - with a clean line on every hole except maybe 8. those tee signs are brand new. simon did play mountainside last year which is the other local course - he shot 13 under on the longs at the time (which actually score easier) on that course and did a video. mountainside is just the opposite kind of course with random trees literally placed in the middle of the fairway on every hole. I go there when I want to play a frustrating round. does have two tees and two baskets per hole which is nice.
Paul has some serious potential. He's going to be a big name in the sport one day. We can all say "I remember watching him on Simon's channel when he was an amateur." Cool of Simon to help him showcase his talents for the disc golf community. Much like he did with Casey.
Yea he does , so does that young kid who played the glitches tournament with simon, his name was Landon. That kid is going to be a force in a couple years he can throw that glitch like a boss.
This is my home course. Ive played about 200 rounds on it. I have been waiting YEARS for you to play here. I am so glad you finally did. This and mountainside in Monson are 2 of my favorites in Mass. Also, just a note - You played the long basket on 7 from what I saw. The short is the one to the left.
Have you played clement farms near the NH line, that's place it a beautiful course definitely worth checking out if you haven't, and Bellamy park in dover is another beautiful free course to play love that place.
Simon should learn his snakes. There are no Cottonmouth's that far up. You almost certainly saw a Northern Water Snake. Being educated about your snakes keeps you and them safe!
South Fork Park is 9 holes long and amazing for ace runs if you wanted to check it out while you are in Burlington, KY for the Idlewild Open!! Can’t wait to see you throw!
11:57 „Mehr Glück als Verstand… typisch“. Einer der seltenen Chancen, Simon deutsch sprechen zu hören. I‘m pretty sure people would like to see and hear more of that. Liebe Grüße aus Hamburg!
Next time you play Eagle's Crossing, head a little bit closer to St. Louis and play New Melle Lakes. It's 50/50 wooded/open and is on an old golf course. It's by far my favorite course in the general St. Louis area.
Simon is my favorite player, glad to see him throwing all that Maple Valley Plastic....been throwing them since their inception....sang their praises all those years, no one listened. They're listening now lol. Throw Gyro
Always look forward to a Simon video! I love how you subconsciously twirl your discs! Looks like Hawkins Woods didn't make your "hour from home". It's probably 1 hour 5 minutes 😂. Thanks again for the video Simon!
Fun post. And good luck on your upcoming tournaments Simon. Stay positive and try to brush off missed shots quickly so you can bounce back on your upcoming shots.. :)
Just an FYI @Simon: you do not have to worry about the snakes at Maple Hill. You are too far north for Cottonmouths, those were some sort of harmless water snakes.
I came to say the same thing. Cause people actually do kill harmless water snakes cause everyone living north TN mistakes a banded water snake or black rat snake for a cotton mouth/ water moccasin. Gentle/kind Simon would not do that, but this misidentification perpetuates others less kind to do so.
The fact that Simon can throw a Delirium that far is insane. I found one of them without ink at one of my home course, and that thing is INSANELY overstable. I can throw close to 400', I'm MA2 atm, and I can throw that thing on a 40 degree anhyzer angle on backhand and it will still come out of it.
Y'all two make great vlogs together. Keep it up! Good to see you both enjoyed crane hill. Gotta try mountainside in Monson when you're around again. Get your hiking boots ready then!
I feel like you're going to kill it the last half of the season🙏🏼. Keep throwing that watermelon hex and it'll be a breeze.... p.s. the hex is the best disc I've ever thrown, shout out to Jeff Faes for hooking me up!!!
I’m sure you know this but the eclipse hex’s are also pretty stable like the proton hex’s. I’ve been doing the same thing, flippy neutron for turnovers and stabler eclipse that pushes a bit.
if youre in michigan at some point this summer i would love to see you play Cass Benton Parkway. not a tough course but its a fun one (and not far from the pro tour event)
Wait Simon you sure? Tully Lake, Royalston Fish and Game, Highlands of Conway, Northampton State Hospital? All in Central/West Central MA. Tully and Royalston are for sure as close as Flat Rock!
Good stuff. I think Paul will have his own channel before long. He has witty comments when appropriate and game to back it up. Looks like hes been paying attention.
That’s my son Jack! Thank you so much for using his ACE video! We can’t believe it!
That "Dad laugh" made me smile :) Great shot, Jack!
Congrats! I’ve been playing for a decade now, casually, and still no ace… it’s gotta feel good 😀
Nice Ace Jack!!👏🤙
Maple Hill 17?

Underrated comment 💀
Definitely one of the sickest slow-mo montages!
Paul is a cool dude... Laid back and obviously a good and respectful human.

Watching a pro shred your home course is really special, so happy so see Simon finally pull up to Crane
The casual hex on 1 and spike hyzer on 18, must be nice to boom
Those tee signs are like murals, very cool.

Finally!! My home course and home of the reigning New England Team Challenge Champions!
Can't wait to see you try the longs!

They've recently changed the short basket on 7 about 80 feet or so to the right now. Long got pushed back about 60 feet. Freaking love crane hill
@@rathdennykeo9112 Oh dang. I just graduated college and haven't gone in like 2 months. I need to come back this weekend then
Have you played clement farms near the NH line, that's place it a beautiful course definitely worth checking out if you haven't, and Bellamy park in dover is another beautiful free course to play love that place.
My home course when I lived in MA! Love this place and miss it all the time.
Simon should learn his snakes. There are no Cottonmouth's that far up. You almost certainly saw a Northern Water Snake. Being educated about your snakes keeps you and them safe!
Water moccasins aren't native in MA. You likely saw harmless northern water snakes
I was wondering about that, as someone who has spent too much time looking for discs in maple hill's ponds.
@@bryanmannoia8410 The ones you aren't allowed to go looking in? "Do not enter water" signs around literally every body of water at that course.
Always love it when Paul's in the vlog. He has an amazing form on top of being such a chill guy!
Always makes my day when simon posts!!! 🙃
I love that that kid aced intern Ben's ace race hole!
“I don’t believe in better. I believe in different.” Fantastic quote!
@SimonLizottes hmmm you seem to have too many S’s in your name.

Sometimes disc golf is just "mehr Glück als Verstand", Simon. Totally agree 😂
11:55 "Mehr Glück als Verstand" 😂😂 grüße aus Deutschland, ich schau alle deine Videos.
montage low key went hard boys👏👏
Crane hill has always been one of my favorites. Great views. Cool old trees
I really want to watch a pro shred my home course just to see how good they really are
Congratulations on your big win Simon. Your such an awesome player. Can't wait to see your next video.
11:57 „Mehr Glück als Verstand… typisch“. Einer der seltenen Chancen, Simon deutsch sprechen zu hören. I‘m pretty sure people would like to see and hear more of that. Liebe Grüße aus Hamburg!
Why simon lizotte is truly the people's champion? Like he says in this video, " have places to go , but still says enjoy". Truly a people's champion
8:25. That feeling is so relatable.
Good point Simon about not making excuses BEFORE throwing. I need to embrace that in my own game.
Next time you play Eagle's Crossing, head a little bit closer to St. Louis and play New Melle Lakes. It's 50/50 wooded/open and is on an old golf course. It's by far my favorite course in the general St. Louis area.

Way to go Jack Kleppe! Simon has always influenced future disc golfing since he was a kid. I like watching all your videos brudda. 🇨🇦🍻🙋♂️
ur the man simon! seeing ur flying high five when calvin hit that ace was awesome! ur such a good cardmate!
MVP/AXIOM.....Best looking, highest quality discs on the market. Fly Nice too!
I really hope Simon or Ricky wins worlds this year. Vinny would be my 3rd pick.
The list of players that I would want to win is like 50 players long 😂😅
Who started the Vinny Buckets name? I love it
over 7000 languages but this guy chose to speak facts

Have you been to mountain side? That should be within an hour from Shrewsbury. Fun course too. What about Tully Lake?
Lol Simon there's no water moccasins in your area. They don't range north of Virginia along the east coast.
Such a fun course, one of my favorite in MA!!
Paul is one of the best guest players you shoot videos with imo. Shoutout to that dude. Also, your/Simon putts are ridiculous! See ya at Ledgestone 👍
Fun post. And good luck on your upcoming tournaments Simon. Stay positive and try to brush off missed shots quickly so you can bounce back on your upcoming shots.. :)
One of my favorites in central MA. It’s a well known locals course and one I play when I make trips back to visit friends
I just got a resistor a few weeks ago. Really nice disc. I like the 6 speeds I’ve thrown.
Bro the trick shot skits are so cool. Nice touch.
Wilbraham! Home of Friendly's Ice Cream! Thanks for visiting!
“Ok , he tried to kill me. I’m alive though” 😂
Just an FYI @Simon: you do not have to worry about the snakes at Maple Hill. You are too far north for Cottonmouths, those were some sort of harmless water snakes.
Facts
Here in the Netherlands we call those "hazelworms" and are technically not snakes at all.
I came to say the same thing. Cause people actually do kill harmless water snakes cause everyone living north TN mistakes a banded water snake or black rat snake for a cotton mouth/ water moccasin. I started using an MVP Spin & I absolutely love it! My circle 2s have improved 100%

Devastated to have missed you but glad that there is a video for me to study crane hill 😂
Looking forward to seeing you at Idlewild.
My home course! Love to see it
Finally! My local course in MA.. they just installed the new tee signs and pads about a month ago or so
You should play the courses on Cape Cod. There are two, Oakcrest and Burgess.
i believe in different not better is a brilliant philosophy
OMG - love that course !
Shorts & Longs both fun, yea you’ll have to try the longs some time…
Thanks Paul!
For someone who complains about people talking during his putt, Simon sure does like talking during every putt of his buddies 😂 Love that guy
In my friend group, the people who complain about it do it the most 😅
Hey Simon, Have you played Tully Lake Disc Golf Course ... it should be about an hour from you too
Congrats on DGLO, Simon, I'd say your wishes came true. :)
Have you played Northampton hospital? It's not far from there and it's a pretty fun course.
Dude-man.. that course was a Beauty, thanks for that.
Stoked to see you back competing next weekend man! Miss watching you!
I feel like you're going to kill it the last half of the season🙏🏼. Keep throwing that watermelon hex and it'll be a breeze.... p.s. the hex is the best disc I've ever thrown, shout out to Jeff Faes for hooking me up!!!
Have you played Slater Park in Pawtucket RI? It's about two minutes over the mass border.
That relativity shot was absolutely bonkers !!!! That's insane ! Simons skills never cease to impress
That's my local place! cant wait to see what you think of it!
Looking forward to seeing Paul on a jomez lead card.
You have to play Westy Acres!!!!!!!!!
13:00 i just got winter anxiety. THANKS SIMON. :_D
That Delirium shot was a LAZER!!
i would really like to see a video, where you can show how the different plastics types effects the stability of the dics 🙏
We need an updated in the bag now that you've had some time to figure out what's staying and what's going and maybe even what's new.
Coming soon, no doubt

The putting improvements and confidence aged VERY well after this video. 🫡 DGLO Domination!
See you at DGLO Simon!!!

I got a 2018 patent pending soft neutron proxy with a TSA stamp on it if you want it Simon.
Would love to play a round with simon. Try and play keepup while he jams 50' putts all day.😅
me, too. only I want to play him when his putting is off.
Crystal Pond is only 52 minutes from Shrewsbury...
In case you want another local course.
(And baskets have arrived for the new course in Boylston)
11:25 - don’t you love it when you don’t know where your disc is and you check by the basket and it’s parked ;)
Every time Simon shows a disc they sell out… lol everyone going nuts for watermelon paradox!

If you ever get a chance, you should check out Wilcox Memorial Park on the east side of NY, it would be a little bit of a drive, but its worth it.
