Testing The Mega Step Up | Building A Free Ride Line Part 5

Today were finally finishing the huge step up, its taken several months in-between other projects, over 500 wheelbarrow loads of dirt later we have a sick step up to temporarily end the line on. Its been so much fun building this and even more fun testing it out, massive thanks to everyone that helped.

Bloody beautiful. Wish I was still into bikes when I lived in yeovil. Second I moved away got back on a bike again after 5 years off. There much up there in terms of less kicky jumps or is it all mainly dirt jump style stuff?

It’s worth the trip back, few big bike jumps and lines but fairly overgrown this time of year

Can I suggest that you also build up the berm slightly and build it out at the start, to start earlier on the corner to transfer the energy forward without so much pivot

The riding line means it would be hard to enter the corner earlier but I was planning to adjust that previous landing to allow for this. The berm is only challenging on a dirt jump bike.

@@DannyDigs I hear you, but there is a point in the berm where the kinetic energy is slightly shifting which is spitting you out in a spot you dont have complete control over. If the berm was slightly less aggressively curved, it will allow you to roll out much smoother and with consistent speed. It is a really nice build though bro! So much effort has gone into it.
