I am 28 years old. Currently I work in energy industry as I have graduated from bachelor and master degrees of petroleum engineering. I don’t feel like I belong in this industry, so last year started to take many online courses. But as I don’t apply them in my current job they are fading away. I hope with this structure I will gain what I need and start career in data science.
You know what’s funny: I have transitioned from energy industry at 30. Yeah, knowledge fades away without practice. So either start building some project/app/service or whatever is interesting to you or jump into the first Kaggle competition on the list. Don’t even think about it, just do it. And you will start applying your new skills right away.
Thank you so much for sharing. I am in a state where I want to enhance my understanding of Deep Learning and then turn to Generative AI. Your video helps me with exactly how to go along the road. Much appreciated!
Hi, thanks for the comment. I've double checked and all the links appear to be working. I'm not sure if there may be an access issue from different countries. Maybe try VPN? The links are on Coursera and Udemy. They should open from just about anywhere. Are coursera.org & udemy.com available in your region?
a lot of to learn the time you get fine with these course the AI will take our places and anyone can use what you are saying i think we need to learn the important of all these topic without going very deep ...and now with a good prompts we can achieve what we want...of course you need to know what you want and what you want to be achieved it is my opinion .....
The time required (with dedicated work) to go over the material is about 3 months. I think it is a reasonable amount of time to spent if you are targeting the highest paying domain. And then you can either go all in into prompting development, or continue in hardcore research direction. In any case you will have all the required skills.
@@lifecrunch im a data science student. but i dont seem to understand how i can go over everything in 3 months. i have been working day and night but there is just so much
With the background you already have, if you already have Python basic knowledge - it’s doable for sure. Motivation is key. Trust me, I understand how overwhelming it is at the start. Once you get a good grasp of the underlying concepts, it will all start to come together.
