Yes it is Mongolian throat singing. The instrument played with a bow is a Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle). The horse has major significance in Mongolian culture and can indeed imitate the sound of a horse. The guitar-like instrument is a Tovshuur. Wolf Totem is another good song of theirs and I really like Song of Women which features Lzzy Hale. You might also enjoy their cover of Metallica's Sad but True. I think they do it really well. They have a lot of great material to choose from.
Oh my gosh! Thank you for all this info. That’s so sick and I love learning the lore of bands and instruments and all of that. Appreciate you homie! 🤘🏻🖤

This band is called a band with no genre for a reason! they varry from Regge R&B To Folk-Metal-Punk ... compare their "Space song" and "No escape from Balkans") Arka'n Asrafokor- TOGO (also worth of note is Skinflint from Botswana but they don't ussualy have much folk elements) Al-Namrood- Saudi Arabia (They played metal when it was punishable by death... IT DON'T GET MORE HARDCORE THAN THAT!) More Mongolian folk metal band? Uukhai have some very few but good songs. Also Nine Treasure from Inner Mongolia good, they don't do throat singing though. Also Khusugtun good.
They are great live too. Saw them open for Halestorm a couple years ago. Mongolian folk mixed with rock/metal using traditional instruments in addition to standard. 4 main members and 4 touring members. Yup, Jaya, Gala and Enkush are throat singing. Jaya is playing a Tumur Hhuur (jaw harp), also plays a Tsuur (end blown flute), Gala and Enkush have the Morin Khuur(2 string with a bow). Temka is playing the Tovshuur (3 string). The touring members: Ono - percussion, Jamba- guitar, Davaa - bass, and Odko - drums. 2 albums released since 2019. Song is one of several songs that have been redone with new English lyrics and guest vocalists. This with Danny Case (From Ashes to New). Others include Wolf Totem with Jacoby Shaddix (papa Roach) and Song of Women with Lzzy Hale (Halestorm).
Love the Hu. If you want to continue experiencing metal with cultural influences, I recommend checking out Indian folk metal band Bloodywood, they are amazing

Hi. Can you please react to legendary Russian rock band Kino song Calm night? It's rock music masterpiece! You will be surprised so great music you never heard! Lot of bloggers from different countries really like this band and song. Now really interesting your reaction too. Original from 80s. Album Last hero.
The guitar-like instrument is a tovshuur and the player is Temka. His tovshurr is shaped like a drawn bow with an arrow. Very cool. And definitely do SONG OF WOMEN fea. Lizzy Hale.
In case you haven't seen it already, there is this same video with subtitles. In summary, the song bemoans that modern Mongolians have become soft and lazy compared to the greatness of their ancestors, especially Genghis Khan. Thus the intro makes more sense. The song calls for a return of the Khan's strength.
