If you like female vocalists you should look to Europe a bit more. In the US you pretty much only have Amy Lee in this genre of music. In Europe female fronted symphonic/progressive metal bands are more common than in the US. At least that's how it looks to me judging by american reaction video's. Beside Nightwish you could have a listen to Epica, Within Temptation (front woman vocalist Sharon den Adel is actually a good friend of Amy Lee and Amy is a regular guest vocalist in their band), Sirenia, Xandria, Eluveitie, Lacuna Coil and Elysion. Often these bands combine a clear female voice with a distorted male voice, what I call the "the Beauty and Beast" bands.

That shit goes on all night at a Band Maid show. Do whatever it takes to see them live. They will likely be in the states late 2025 if history holds accurate.

I will add my vote for reacting to Xdinary Heroes “iNSTEAD”. It’s very 2010s’ metal pop. Linkin Park, Evanescence, even reminds me of some classics late 90s Judas Priest.
