Great job on the upgrade, Kara !! For people like me who cannot afford the $350 price tag on the Kreg jig you showed, there is a fantastic alternative by Kreg that is much more affordable at $129, it's called "Kreg Tool KPHJ720PRO Pocket-Hole Jig 720 PRO" It has a vacuum attachment and it can create pocket plugs too. It is basically the same one you showed but without the storage base but still stores the attachments! Just thought I'd give your viewers a more cost effective option.

I love the dresser upgrade
For future reference, they are two screws inside of each drawer; just unscrew them and the drawer front will come out.
There's 2 on each side on mine. But when I got the metal locks off it was "easy piecy". Thanks for pointing that out.

I was skeptical when you were applying the paper to the drawer fronts, but Dang !! This turned out NICE !! Good job !!
Really love the end result. It is like a totally different piece by the time you are done with it. Really great work!!! As to the drawer removal ... you can do it, you just need to remove the screw that is about half way back on the inside of the drawer. It actually removes the drawer from the slide assembly. It's a weird design and not an obvious solution so not surprised it would get missed. I just wanted to mention it in case someone else is curious.

Old IKEA furniture would definitely be upgraded. Old wood furniture would be either redone to original or re-stained to a different finish with possible upgrades.

Love this! I would never have thought to put the paper on the outside, looks fabulous. But will the paper hold up? In my experience things like that easily start to peel in the corners etc. And then it looks terrible.
It was a thinker paper so hopefully it will be fine. By adding the handles it removed the need to grab the drawers to open it so hopefully that will help. Thanks for watching!
I would thing the peel and stick would lift on the edges over time with use. Have you noticed this or heard from clients. Beautiful make over.
Not totally sure but hopefully the handles will help that since you no longer have to grab the actual drawer to open it.
Maybe I am missing something but why did you scuff sand a Black surface just to paint it Black again? Great job!
it's hard to tell from the video but the dresser was a dark black-brown wood stamped color to start. Thanks for watching!

I have a 20gal compressor
IKEA is put together furniture. If they got the drawers in, there’s a way to get them out.
Drawers come out when you remove screws from slide rails.
How do u figure out the pricing of ur peaces

I am painting a couple of ikea end tables this week @rusticwhimsy. To get the drawers off I had to unscrew the drawer guide. Was really easy once I figured it out.
