What I like about Haiti is the people may so poor they are dressed in rags but they're clean rags. They may only have a spoonful of food to offer you as a guest but it's the tastiest dish you will ever eat. They take pride in themselves even in poverty.

I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving and have my mom cook me up some delicious Haitian food. I have grown up eating all these dishes and never had gotten sick of it. People don't know but haitian food is amazing.
