I’ve had some with a brief neck/arm massage done during a mask or scalp massage. And I have had some where I was left to relax and I much prefer something else being done to fill the time. It makes it a more complete experience and enhances relaxation in my opinion.

You are going to the wrong aesthetician. They always should do something while a mask is on (hand and/or foot massage, hair play, shoulder massage).
