Body and foot massage works wonders for my MS. I go once a month and for a few days after I feel amazing. Not all of my symptoms are eliviated but they do lessen. I am ready to go back by the next month.
I have always wanted to try reflexology. Discovered Emotional Freed Technique and Rolfing, which has changed my life profoundly. Seems like reflexology would make the perfect trifecta.

Wild that someone just made this up one day and now there are people who are like "Yes, hmm, squeezing this toe corrects hormonal problems in the hypothalamus for sure, but only if I wave my hands around first, and only if you've recently smelled sage"

You should keep an open mind as years ago,,when I was being treated for Alcohol detox and addiction by the NHS, a practitioner came to the Hospital and gave us all (Druggies and Alkys) Acupuncture. Basically he stuck needles in our Ears to help us all with addiction. You can find charts on the acupuncture points on the internet and the Chinese are one of the World Leaders in Medicine. I also never would have thought that sticking little needles in my Ears would help with being an alky but it did (i`ve been sober for about 20 years now). You can also get reflexology on the NHS. The NHS hasn`t got the money to waste on things that don`t work and Modern medicine and Treatments are advancing and changing all the time.🙂
Not gonna lie, when she started placing the unopened bottles in her lap as medicine I lost it😂 It may be pseudoscience but it is very relaxing nonetheless
Pirates Pierce their ears to pay for their burials. And the vast majority of them didn't have I'm missing eye. They kept that eye cover so that when they want below decks on other shifts they could see properly. It had nothing to do with acupuncture
You’re right about the piercing, it was a good way for them to keep precious metals close. As for the patch the general consensus is that most pirates didn’t have eyepatches at all. Whilst some may have done, it’s more likely that the modern view of pirates with an eye patch came from a combination of the propaganda of the time which aimed to depict pirates as evil (this was a huge issue for the ruling classes as the working class had some sympathy for pirates as there was a view that they were “Robin Hood types” or rebels against the upper class), as well as being brought through into later stories about pirates - the most famous being Treasure Island.
@a.y.t.a.s.494 it was always abstract, unusual and bizarre ideas and ways that led to the stories of H.P Lovecrafts creatures. Just imagine cream, rubbing and saying lies, it could be such a good lead up to a crazy dark horror monster
My mother taught me everything about reflexology she's been a therapist for over 30 years and never saw something so slow like this. I am so grateful I learned from the best. Her patients always say how great and how healed they feel after my mom treated them she takes not more than 1hr and I take a bit more. But I'm still learning with my people 😅
1. My favorite massage. Better and last long. 2. Never had a person chat w the massage. They quiet and also once the touch begins they don’t lose contact with the body until done. As in don’t lose contact or let go until the other hand has made contact w intended point. Really make a difference. 3. I know this is for TH-cam so 🤷♀️. If in a private session I’d have to ask to pls be quiet. 4. She shouldn’t have both feet uncovered. I guess for TH-cam again. 5. When doing how I am familiar this has kept headaches and agitation away from me for 3-4 wks a shot If you get migraines check this out. And chiropractor. The two things that took away all my bad stuff.
Shiatsu roots start 3000 years ago in China. About 1300 Japanese made it specific to Japan w movements, actions and belief systems. So, more that someone hanging one day and making stuff up. That would be called: religion
I think there is something to this and I don’t write it off as pseudoscience. I have broken my wrist with it being put back together with a steel plate and wires and I have suffered 2nd to 3rd degree burns on my right hand and every now and again, I get pain in my right heel to the degree that I limp for a day or two despite it never having trauma.
I remember studying physiology at the University of medical science and and back then everyone was like” this is a made up stuff for beauticians to do as extra like hands massage and a few years later many of my friended switched and became an reflexologists 😂😂😂😂
I don't wanna be negative nor mean but the 1st and 2nd gal might have that sweet voice and delicate touch but sadly she went to the wrong school because she knows nothing about reflexology I feel disappointed I really thought I could learn something from her video but, I could only find her voice is her strong skill 😅😢
That's because talking is 99% of the "treatment". The rest is just show bullshit to justify the price. People come here to feel good and listened to, have the feeling that "something" has been done to them. Even if everything is bullshit, they will still believe they are feeling better because they've been taken care of.
ASMR? Okay, fast-forward to that. As many know, but many do not, reflexology was invented in the 1950’s out of whole cloth by an American nurse. Complete nonsense, but enjoy. Dare the OP to leave this comment up.
