  • Found what I like, they're hella slow right now but as I learn how to actually do tricks I'm going to increase them little by little if I need too! Now I need to fix my pids I guess, got really bad oscillations.

    That's prop wash. You're coming out of your split 'S' too flat. Accelerate, throttle up ,sooner, coming out of your split in more of an arc!
    You might also try emuflight, i think you might really like that.
    Nice flying!!

    The reason for your oscillations is late throttle apply in your manuvers,by my opinion!Keep on!!!

    Cool video! it's cool to see more women getting into FPV :) People are saying it, but try to flatten out slowly when you are hitting the gap rather then on the way down. You can try starting low on everything, working P up till you get a bounceback on rolls, then up the D to counter the bounceback. That being said, I fly Kiss and high end gear and it's hard for me to create that kind issue falling into my own wake\ even if I try. I would stick with 3-500 builds if I started today though... Cheers!

    Great flight and edit!! I agree with the earlier comments to go back to stock for your fc, but I would recommend from there enabling expert and the sliders. Let Betaflight do the math and you just adjust "feel", drib does a video on building a CL1 and talks about how to move the sliders to get the feel at the sticks you want.
    Happy Flying!!

    The oscillations are "prop wash", you have it when you are descending over the turbulent air. I'm not an expert but maybe there are adjustments to the PIDs that could reduce it, otherwise try to add some pitch so you descend in a forward way instead of just vertically.

    • @AleeshaFPV
      @AleeshaFPV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gonna work on this !! Thank you 🙏

    • @daverips_
      @daverips_ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AleeshaFPV Also, to reduce propwash you can increase your filtering in the filters tab. Increasing the number actually DECREASES the amount of filtering, check out some videos on it. You don't want to go too high, but some people with really clean builds go 1.6-2.0. I run my filters at 1.4 So my quad can still fly decent with banged up props and motors that aren't perfect. The propwash handling is loads better at 1.4 from 1.0, and gets better as you go higher.

  • @ZangaoFPV
    @ZangaoFPV 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice flying. I see people already pointed it out. But I will only add as well from my experience that a lot of the ocillations are coming from prop wash. It happens specially when you have a lot o air to push down to make your quad go up. If you come off the split S in the "hover" position you will need a lot of air pushing down and creates this tubulance.
    To avoid it is what people already said. Try not to apply throttle only when you are already "flat". Try to tart the throttle when you are in a bit of an angle, and not aligned with the horion. Think about the movement as loop from a rollercoaster. If you are coming down at an angle you don need as much force to "break", if you are free falling you need way more power to do it. I dont know if that made sense. But I always try analogies hahaahaah

  • @skyrotfpv
    @skyrotfpv 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Love the video and your natural style. It's super chill! The video feed looks very clean with only a little propwash after split-s catches and loops. I personally wouldn't change the PID's and just keep on flying and learning and flying and learning and... 🔥... your snow quad looks like mine! 🤣

  • @epicchris89
    @epicchris89 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I really recomend you try out emuflight, it is much more friendly to tweak and the stock tune performace are really good. The oscillations are actually propwash because of to late applied throttle. Emuflight handles Propwash very well. Nice flying keep the grind! Peace out

  • @holysquish9862
    @holysquish9862 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I started with my rates around 500 degrees, Make sure you have enough capacitors on your quad, and really for PID tuning id look up some PID tuning videos and learn it for Betaflight and filter settings, Also learn bl heli settings not sure if your on 32 or S, All of that will help with oscillations and bounceback, I fly Flight one falcox its been almost 2 years since i tuned BF

  • @aakashjana6225
    @aakashjana6225 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thats called jello , you need to tune your PIDs to eliminate that also rugged props make for unwanted vibrations . Try lowerring your P term or increase the D and check if you have hot motors.

  • @Emceemur
    @Emceemur 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is high tech as balls. I think it looks super cool. I just basically want a way to get aerial shots on locations where I hunt video games. What exactly is an “oscillation” in this context?

  • @user-vr1qv6qe7f
    @user-vr1qv6qe7f 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You're only getting oscillations on drops where you're falling flat and late throttle. You may be able to tune some out but you'll never get it perfect. Try not falling so flat almost like a dive and apply throttle sooner and go in smoothly dont punch the throttle so late. Your rates are low but easier for beginners i fly at like 890dgps with some expo on pitch and roll. 🤷‍♂️😅 you'll raise them as you practice.

    Nice vid! I'm not at all an expert, but to me it looks like you don't have Air mode active! It stabilizes your drone when you are at zero throttle mid air. I'm curious to know if i'm right or not. Also, I think prop wash is sometimes caused by the prop nuts not being thight enough... maybe check that before messing with the PIDs. Good luck and keep flying!

    I feel like your rates are way too slow like that’s extremely slow I run my rates slightly slower than Mr steels but it’s all personal preference you will get there you’re flying still has a long way to come but nice work 😝🤘 my recommendation would be to find a pilot on TH-cam that you really like and try to fly like them and then start to put your own flavour on it. Watch like heaps of trick tutorial videos that’s what helped me and then once you got it you start to flow into everything and join everything together to do a really nice freestyle run

    • @AleeshaFPV
      @AleeshaFPV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The rates I chose are actually vanovers lol I can flip completely with full stick deflection so it’s good for me! I’ll increase by a few degrees here and there, more gradually so it’s not so intense of a change.
