I replaced my little dummy plug with a nice billet aluminum stick from ECS right off the rip. Never trust computers. 🤣 Great content Bruce. Keep it comin bro. ✌

Yeah. You leave it in the engine all the time.

One of the very first things I did after buying my B8.5 Allroad was spend a few dollars on a real dipstick. Worth it. Although, to be honest, the oil reading on the MMI is pretty accurate (not quite as reliable as the old fashioned dipstick though). It looks like Bruce and I have the exact same oil stick. Great minds think alike. Hahaha! Thanks for the video Bruce.

Aye man absolutely love the videos. You've taught me more about my B8 S5 than I even thought imaginable. I am having trouble though. It's possible that the ECM needs flashed. Is there a DIY means of doing this safely or will this HAVE to be a dealership problem?

Is the dip stick the right length for your car engine to get the correct level?
It takes my car so long to show me my oil level changed it yesterday wasn't entirely sure if I did it right and this vid pops up lol

Fine, but the computer won't tell you the condition of the oil.
Can you drive around with the oil stick in? Or do you need to swap for the plug when you drive?

I almost messed mine up because of going off what the CPU said luckily I was parked at the Walmart auto center says oil is low but literally just got an oil change and there was no leak

What kind of oil are you using? Considering to just jump out of LL to Edge 5w30 M. My engine code CDNC sitting on 177tkm. (Engine rebuilt with new pistons at 154tkm)

Hey Bruce I have a 2011 Audi A5 and have oil spraying onto my coolant reservoir. I can’t seem to find where’s it coming from but I removed the MAP sensor off the intercooler piping and found oil in the pipe. I just had my Pcv valve go bad 2 days ago could the oil be because of the Pcv valve failure?

Guys if there is too much oil would it be shown on mmi when checking oil level? Have audi a6 2018 2.0 tdi.. it showing me sometimes max sometimes a bit below. But if there is too much oil would it be shown there? Thanks a lot.
If it’s too much it will say please drain oil on the MMI
