There is. I worked on counterfeit on Luxury goods in France and I’m afraid this is not on.

@@TheHandbagConnoisseur It is. Reconditioning a bag while keeping the initial brand name can land her in a lot of trouble. And French luxury brands do not joke around with that. She can recondition them and sell them but the logo of the brand must disappear.
