LOL : I was wondering what your comment meant as, as a lutenist myself, I was noticing that she plays "thumb" -not down but "inside"... it took me a moment to realize that you were speaking about likes. (By the way TH-cam prevent the dislikes to appear for public, only the author of the video posted can see them). If you're interested in lute technique, you see that her right hand thumb is inside the other fingers, a technique appropriate to renaissance and early baroque lute music. Later on, and especially with theorbo, the position changed to something more close to guitar technique, although with right little finger still on the soundboard.
Maybe about 6 months I'm listening lute and it's therapy for me, thank you Lord for the great musicians whose opened these magics compositions and musicians who can play it and do the space clearer. Grazie, Giulia🙏😑
Lmao, this is also what brought me here. In the first book after he played for the 1st time in 3 years and the whole caravan was stunned or in tears. Such a beautiful moment.

Thank you, Dear Giulia, for playing this rarely played musick, that is so very worthy, and for having played it with your whole soul, heart, and mind, instead of just with your mind. You penetrated the secret code! Piu ricercari, prego!
Those 7 people who put a thumbs down need to have their heads examined. Just a wonderful playing.

Decorations on Kapsberger’s books! There are also animals... a fish, a snail, a dog chasing a rabbit... :D
This lute sounds much more resonant as the van der Geest lute. Is it maybe due to microphone settings?
very nice, how many courses of string does that bad boy have?
