I think that reflects well on music and musicians. It happens all the time in places like Instagram and FaceBook but very VERY rarely in the world of TH-cam where every nonentity tries to create sensation on the back of musicians and music. Example - see the 3 thumbs down on this. I know it's a debatable, but on balance I think it's better when You Tube turns the comments off and every viewer is encouraged to form their own opnion independently of others. I don't know why they don't do it more often. Look at the rubbish that is written about Brandon!
Dear Anna, what impresses me (touches me) the most in your interpretation, it is the relief, rather the life, that you put in this sumptuous Chaconne: there is "suspense", moments of tension and others of calm, in a relevant progression. In fact, you're just telling us a story. If I had heard your version of this Ceccona before recording Sonata VII, I would have chosen it rather than the original concluding Fugue. Thank you for this gold nugget which is added to the others !!

Very fine playing and recording. Our lives would not be long enough to listen to all the baroque music extant, even at two hours a day! There are just so many fine composers most of us have never heard of - like Zamboni!

How good it is to hear this 2:19 wonderful instrument. It is worth referring to The Bardi Academy of Florence in those years 1590-1600 was successful to picking Bass Luth as a prime instrument for the voice. It’s wonderful with pedal strings, sympathetic strings and soloists.
