Absolutely brilliant! She has a way of moving, something I can’t quite quantify, that is different than any other girl, and it’s amazing. Absolutely the best.
@@dancingdani25 me neither! Her solo seemed to have it all! Impeccable technique, her feet, lines, flexibility, but also soooo much musicality/performance/movement quality! Was v surprised !!
@@2tr6dinquwjosthis is spot on! It had everything and her improv was insane! The other dancers are incredible but I do think TDA has that specific style that it prefers the last few years the concert/contemp style it seems to win no matter what now and that is just not Gracyn 😢 she’s a star

It really wasn't. The girl who won it outdanced her on every level. Her technique was better, her stage presence was better, her choreography was better. It wasnt even a competition

I went there this summer and my solo was literally 7 seconds over 3 mins and they deducted points😭 They might’ve made an exception for her though. sometimes they favor dancers from better studio, and maybe they just saw something more in Miyah and Giselle? I don’t know
@@ellariccii true. Like you never know but I saw the solo and was blown away! I didn’t see the other two who she was against but after seeing her solo, I was like how could that not win? lol

Not sure how she didn’t win. Not taking anything away from the others but this literally was leaps above every other performance.
