Mexico Local Wildlife Vlog | Grand Palladium Riviera Maya

A close encounter with a Raccoon and Iguana and a Crocodile Yawning! We took a tour around the mangroves and beaches both in and adjacent to the resort to look for amazing wildlife. Among other things we also had close encounters with Coatis and Sereques.

very good shots of the regulars who like to hang around the grand palladium complex - very good. I've seen a raccoon take a roll it was allowed before but this mummy looks like she was trying a steak snatch! Vert very rare! The bird is a kind of Mexican quail. My wife & I like to call him owlbert, due to the hooting noise it makes. It rarely ever flies, in fact I didn't know if could fly as much as what you ave filmed. Great. You also have the cuervo, or looky up bird and the agutis (everything has multiple names, some official, it's ok, no need to argue)

Thanks! Yes the mummy raccoon did appear to be nursing. We think she was only so brazen because she was desperate bless her.
Thanks for identifying the birds! My favourite bird is the little black ones that make the very loud squeak noise near the pools, and often raid the buffets. Are they called Cuervos?

I’m pretty sure I went to the same resort and I saw all these animals too. Another animal to look out for are Brown Basilisk Lizards. I saw a few of them while I was there and it was so cool to see them run away on two feet.

So THAT'S what those little tykes are called. I saw them and they were adorable but too fast for my camera!
