The Ferrari 250 GT has been fully restored and painted its factory Nocciola (hazelnut) colour. It lives in Melbourne, Australia and still gets out for a drive.
Arran Grant, when the movie producers went back the following day to retrieve the wreck, it had disappeared. Read up about it - I do remember the story being on the net.
Friendly Piranha I been reading up about it apparently the car dumped over the side was a wrecked shell supplied by Lamborghini not the car that was filmed driving which was recently rediscovered in an underground car park in Switzerland
Another dangerous car to drive in movies. The real world isn't much safer, what with a decided tendency to catch fire, terrible brakes that would stop you, once, and chronic front end lift above 120 mph that made the steering pointless. But by God it's still a beautiful car, a real work of art...

Wonderful ! But shame the first clip from the Italian Job was cut short and please leave the music, it made that scene so special.

Bellissimo video, complimenti, ma la Miura "sacrificata" in italian job proprio non si può vedere...
La più bella auto di Bertone, senza dubbio.

Anyone else notice there isn’t a engine in the Muira in Italian job when it gets put over the side of the gorge
At least that part is saved :-)

Arran Grant, yes, that shell they pushed over the side mysteriously disappeared during the night. Google it on Jalopnik
Friendly Piranha hi maybe Ferrucio Lamborghini ordered it to be picked up for spares parts he was known for being very thrifty with the finances

do a c5 corvette in films next

The original 1969 Italian Job was much, much better than that piece of garbage remake starring convicted felon Marky Mark Wahlberg.
