Yea man I think I spoke about this...but maybe I will do a small clip in the next video if I can remember. What I can say is. Not to hit the bottom drive off the top part of the wave and be on full rail. Maintaining is about weight distribution and lightness in transitions. Weight and power only when doing turns. Hope this helps.
That is a good question. I cover it quite often. What I can say is. Improve your sprint paddles. Get fitter. Learn all swimming styles. Especially butterfly. Paddle head down. Kick hard. Put in an extra stroke before you stand up as fast as possible. Quicken your pop ups and position in the sweet spot of the wave. Or at least angle towards it. I hope this helps. I have covered this quiet alot but it's spread in between all my content. I share some info in this recent video th-cam.com/video/_4Wu9gy9SDQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tGbuNGNOXiW6x97h
Thanks bro I will watch the videos but I am really fit and in a good shape but when the waves are bigger and it’s messy and windy I really can’t catch anything and even if I am I just go straight down and fall
Could be a number of factors. Wrong position on the surfboard. Leaning to far over the edges. Not commiting to the drop. But please be careful and don't hurt yourself pushing limits. Just be patient. Get more reps in and eventually it will come naturally.
@@scottyknowsurfwdym leaning to far to the edges like the rails? And I will not give up it’s also a new board and lately the waves are big like 5 -6 foot I am going as much as I can to surf
