Really enjoyed the musical intro and outro. Interesting instruments. I looked up of course and I think the former is an inanga while the latter is an iningiri. Very cool. 🇷🇼

Murakaza Neza ( Welcome) & Niheza (Welcome). Thank for the appreciation you have for Rwanda and for our culture! We look forward to having ikivuguto (fermented milk) and ikijumba (sweet potatoe).

Glad your family enjoyed the village! It must be fun place for children.
For Europeans especially for Northern Europeans I would say the village is maybe cathered towards American taste. I'm used to cultural villages where you can wander in your own pace. You can stay as short or long time as you want. The focus is on an accurate historical information.
Here it's a big show from start to finish, there is always many people around you and it can feel a bit much..especially if just two persons in your group.
The goal of the Gorilla Guardians village is a very important one but to us it felt too much like a tourist trap because there was a constant push to spend more money. First you pay entrance, then there is beer sold, then you are asked to donate, then you should tip and then we had 3-4 pushing us to buy something at the shop.
It was our own fault though as we went there just based on guide's suggestion and had not researched the village beforehand.
I actually heard Gorilla CENTER so I was picturing something way different 😂😂
