    Right on! Everything I needed to know in a nuthshell! BTW, I'm from Brazil, our PPC community is huge and powerful. Still, your video is the one that helped me the most. Thanks a lot💛💚

    Hi Kevin, super clear and useful info! I'm new to pixels but I've seen other tutorials where they go into Event Setup Tool then assign certain events to specific buttons on specific pages they choose, etc.
    The way you showed seems so much easier but it's a lot broader, so I was wondering if that other way is a thing of the past now, is this just an alternative way of adding events or do we actually need to do both? Cheers!

      Hey Josh! Glad it was helpful. You can set up your events either way. I like to hard code my event triggers in when possible but if you can't do it that way, the event setup tool works great as well.

    Hi , It's still showing me that event is not for ios 14 when I'm making ads ...

      Check the ad at the ad level and go down to "tracking" - make sure you have your website selected.

    can i connect a facebook pixel into my facebook shop

    • @brandarrow.
      @brandarrow.  ปีที่แล้ว

      It shouldn't be needed. The pixel is only needed for assets off of Facebook.

    Hi, how to do it in 2023. Facebook has been updated

    Hi Kevin, i'm confused - is the data still 100% accurate when someone makes a purchase on the website?
    i.e I set up the pixel to track one event which is purchase.
    Will my facebook ads manager pick that up?

    • @brandarrow.
      @brandarrow.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not going to be 100% accurate. You will need to watch it in Ads Manager and then check your back end for purchases to make sure it's reporting accurately. There are some ways to get more accurate data into Facebook Ads Manager using third party tools but they're not cheap.

      @@brandarrow. Thank you for that answer Kevin.
      How would you go about reporting and presenting data to a client?
      And how much data am I realistically missing out on?

    • @brandarrow.
      @brandarrow.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@oa6551 It all depends. If you're just starting out, track it in a spreadsheet. It's a bit manual but it will keep you closer to the data. We also use UTMs to get more granular with attribution. If you're trying to scale a large account then it gets a bit more complicated. We use third-party tools but also keep track of high-level metrics like purchases in a spreadsheet to keep the data sources "honest." Attribution gets more complex the more channels you're in as well.

      If you don't have a website you won't need to set up the pixel.
