Another thing about Aatrox, the dude is just so powerful and forces his bodies(yes, bodies, he uses 1 guy as a host and absorbs everyone he fights to reshape himself) so much that they end up burning away quickly

Sadly. This is a half truth. Aatrox is more powerful than any known Darkin. But he doesn’t burn through the bodies through power. He burns through the bodies because he’s dogshit with blood magic. Vaarus in lore is similarly powerful and has a permanent body.
@@xDoomfirex Yes he is "bad" with blood magic, he only learned it once he was trapped, but in his lore "The Cage" it's explicitly told that he does go nuts and thirsts too much using too much power for his body to handle and just burns his body
@@xDoomfirex Besides Varus having no lore, and having a flaw in design(since riot doesn't want to update him) it's never said or shown that he is as powerful as the General himself

9:05 - actually fun fact.. not rly. With Xolaani at least. Empowered IS an aura but when Xolaani is empowered she transforms into the new unit that doesnt have Empowered. So it just stays on that copy of Xolaani forever.

Snnuy, will you show Xolaani Azir interaction? (if you buff sand varriors via spell that gives all Sand Warriors +1/+0) All warriors contributes to Xolaani "level up" and then if you attack with her and have either Azir or landmarks - all sand warriors will transform into Xolaani

already made that deck myself kinda hard to pilot tho since you lack units on defense
So that was the deck I met! I was confused because it was the first time I had ever seen give Sand Warriors 1/0 ever played, but I didn't quite get to see the latter part of the deck. It is an interesting concept, but it appears to be a bit too tricky to pull off in this metastate. Aatrox decks just run over them so quick, and all it takes is a little removal to completely neutralize the deck.
I played against this deck today, I was very confused what was going on until they topdecked a 26/26 xolaani lol

Has anyone here tried Xolaani + Azir in a sand soldier deck with domination so every soldier buffs Xolaani.
She gets massive in the end and transforms a handful of soldiers most times.

Love Nickyboi for making the ascendant and darkin lore digestible for chat, but a minor nitpick is that Renekton and Nasus most likely were there for the battle of Icathia. Renekton is stated multiple times to have served in the battle against Icathia (his blade once belonged to the warrior-king of Icathia - for more reading: Biography, Darkness, With Teeth), and Nasus buried Setaka after she died in Icathia (Twilight of the Gods), fought alongside her for 3 centuries (Bloodline), and studied into trying to understand why the void affected the other ascendants so badly (Biography).
Just a minor nitpick, he was pretty spot on about everything else!

im actually trying a hecarim xolaani deck, just have soul shepherd or moonlit glenkeeper first hand and you'll 100% lv up xolaani, its turn out pretty good

You get additional quest when purchasing battle pass but just one, and only gives 20shards.... The quest is Play 30 cards from the Expansion(just play 30 of the new cards)

Don't know why Noone play lurk Kail with the lurk landmark. It's bost everything in stads and even if you don't get the landmark you get lurk kards and the kail cards to bost kail pyke or anything els in the deck.
