To actually go against heartless, Benny had to give up everything, or atleast looked like he had to, as any good tragedy has to have the ability of preventability and if his friends would've taken that time to think and plan, their suffering wouldn't have happened and heck as seen of even clay in the Benny route, they would've understood what not only was important but how their objective is just pathetically wrong as their enemies the lovelys. Just happened that benny was the only one who got the point, in other routes the others just went back into their worst impulses, Lanky's(linkie's) crowd pleasing attention seking in still wanting to complete the horrible objective of raping a woman, Clyde's die hardness for it and sergant Cloud's depression making him think FIve's gonna fix his problems. they all had their issues they didn't really solve so ofcourse they didn't get a good ending, Benny did due to overcoming the Terrible arrogant manliness of the apocolypse and choose to be vulriable, to be kind, to want friends. it sucks that to get this actually good ending you have to not conside or help your friends that much, since well they don't actually want to be vurliable with you and Linkie can't get advice from Benny as he doesn't have any to give. This give's message of the importance of kindness and caring about what actually matters to you is so well done. characters layered, human with flaws and reedeming qualities, world building used and expanded, delevering its message about how generic sterotypical base masculity can make us the worst and unhappy version of ourselves. I really, really, like the whistling at the end. Makes it sound like this melody is a tune that originated in Olathe before the Flash, that people are now doing their best to remember and hold on to.

Don't know much about Haywood yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the hell circumstances are going to align to have Beltboy, Five and this fella in a party together without the former two trying to kill him the moment they see his mask. Hell, after all the trouble Milo's posse got into in Lovely Conspiracy when Sonny brought his into the bar, I'm kinda surprised Haywood still carries his around, let alone that he continues to wear it after his gang's been wiped out. Paints a huge target on his face to anyone who knows about the Lovelies and what they did.
@@rando5638 Maybe he doesn't wear it with pride, but as a form of self-sacrifice & repentance, socially ostricizing himself on purpose, intentionally marking himself out as an ex-lovely because he regrets his past actions & is willing to let the world know of them.

Nice remix. My dad passed away recently and this is my favorite song of all time being remixed... it reminds me of him, and my resolve for him. I hope to hear this when the sequel to Hopeless comes out.
