Painfully, I must say that I am unequivocally a Scorpio rising. In my 33 years, my life story has been far more aligned with my Western chart, 12th house stellium and all. However I will not deny the latent side of myself that may perhaps blossom later on in life as a Libra bc I will never give up my pursuit to end this turbulence and live happily ever after. I am the two faces of Janus. I am half blood, mixed western and eastern living in the new world. It is a struggle to be seen and understood, and likewise to overcome the intense self destructive patterns. I find the information helpful but am saddened by the war between schools as it also rages on within me. It is the same as being mixed race-I am neither one or the other. I am both. Mars in 12th with Jupiter, yes abroad...and yes...relationships are an issue as people feel drawn to me but they tend to try to always overpower me, suppress me or control (like I owe them all of me and don't deserve to have my own self) and take, take, take, hence I withdraw...need to find the balance and healthy boundaries.

You are point on with the whole educational situation. I always thought I was slow and had learning difficulties school to the point I had to be in special ed classes. I hated school, didn't hardly show up. I did however get my GED on my time and went to college and succeed in a field I wanted to learn. Things are starting to make sense now. My Sun is in Aries and my Mars is in 10th House-Leo (50:50). So basically the reading says, I am here to complete Leadership aspects which I didn't complete in my past life. Seems quite true because I've always been in Leadership roles without much effort. But, the problem I come across is that when I'm faced with competition or more specifically a rival competition mess up the progress of my work effort, I tend to grudgingly quit and watch from the sidelines how the whole project gets run down to the ground just because I want to prove how incompetent my rival was. But, this has been a reoccurring experience throughout my life so I just have to work out my Karma by taking a stand and finishing projects despite facing competition.

Attracting a partner is not hard for us.... keeping them is hard....we are stronger zodiac not everyone can handle our depths and intensity....we come off as intimidating sometimes and scare away our love partner

We also have the same psyche sign in Pisces and the same Pluto sign in scorpio. I'm seriously enjoying our time together.... Question - how is the planet best determined to be in a house - just by its sign, regardless of degrees or take into account house boundaries based on ascendant's degrees ? e.g I have Mars in Virgo at 27 ' 08 '' ' Scorpio rising at 5 ' 25 '' ' Most chart software show my Mars in 11th hose based on whole sign placement and one shows my Mars in 12th house saying that my 12th house begins at 20 ' 25 ' ' of Virgo , cusp at about 5 ' 25 '' of Libra and ends at 20 ' 25 '' ' of Libra.Sometimes I feel both intertretations , 11th and 12th apply. Which is predominant one ? Also Mars in 12th means I have Mangal Dosha, which and not sure. All the time I was told and am in the impression that my Mars in 11th means I do not have that Mars affliction.

CD Hi good question...yes use sign for house..when you enter a house..you are inside the house right ? How many inches inside is irrelevant. The owner knows you are there! Don,t waste time on unequal cusps that are arbitrary useless boundaries..in my opinion !😉 ps mars in Virgo is 11th house. Use sidereal zodiac for accurate predictions though. I presume you are. Bhava chalit is for Dasha only. You do not have Mangal dosha.

This puts to rest a nagging Q I had for a long time - I have Moon, Mercury, Mars & Venus all in high degrees (> 21) and the above explanation makes it clear that I should just base it on the sign occupied - even when my Venus is like 29.37 degrees, yet as u said its the sign that counts.
