PPS It isn't a facade, imo; it's more about being naturally reticent at first blush. So spot on :) Leo sun with Scorpio rising, and moon in Scorpio as well. I do feel somewhat bogged down at times by the Scorpio energy and constantly conflicted between balancing the dark and the light though...
I have this placement and it is extremely difficult. An example is wanting to be seen/attention like the sun, but then not wanting attention/hiding the Scorpio
I was taught to avoid getting under someone's thumb as a kid and I witnessed the power struggle of managing money in the household. I think it is a valuable lesson because some people don't have your best interest in mind, but it can lead to a toxic mentality when taken too far. Luckily, I believe I'm a more open Scorpio Rising. Exactly why I love Scorpios, I don’t like people either. 😂. And your rising isn’t a facade at all, it’s not something you consciously do. It’s whatever your unique mix of signs combine and intertwine like, your rising is sometimes called your mask which is a little more accurate to me but not a fake or phony mask, just the surface of your personality, until you know people better. Mine is Aries so I come across almost the opposite of my Cappy moon sign, I’m impulsive and happy and have a short fuse with strangers but a super long fuse with people I know and love. That’s why people irritate the shit out of me too.
Scorpio risings are seriously my fave rising sign, for some reason I have them as friends, married one and gave birth to one. Lol. The ‘eye’ thing Scorpios have is because they are mentally undressing you and accurately sizing you up in areas you don’t even know you have, they have gut reactions that should be listened to 100%. They don’t miss a thing and whatever your impression is of them is exactly what they want it to be. If you aren’t honest or genuine, they won’t waste one second on you, they’re polarizing, people like them or they don’t (because they’re scared/intimidated and somehow feeling the mental strip search they got). If you are open and honest and trustworthy (I’m wired that way because of Sagittarius) then they will be in your corner and literally hide a body for you till the end of time. Oh, and funny AF (probably depends a lot on the rest of the chart to what level) but a dark, cynical funny that is smart and accurate, my Capricorn moon finds a true partner in crime with Scorpio rising. Lol we can talk trash intuitively, it’s the funnest. If it happens to be a sexual partnership....nothing more you could ask for😉

I love this video!! I have Pluto and Mars in my 1st house in Libra. Every time I read about Libra rising, I never resonate with it. I'm always in my head, I'm always analyzing.. I can walk into a room and feel everybody's energy. I feel every change of vibration in your voice and know immediately how someone feels. I notice every facial expression. Bingo! But I will say that it depends on your Sun sign. Leo and Aries are pretty loud and in your face personalities and that could certainly drown out Scorpio, which is pretty intensely quiet. But your physical appearance (at least in part) will show up with your Rising sign. For Scorpio it can be those EYES that burn through whoever they're looking at! 😂

My Rising. Mars and Neptune are all in Scorpio, i.e. in the First House. I’m a Virgo with a Stellium in Virgo and Taurus Moon . Although I am very much an Earth Sign , I am deeply sensitive and my emotions are so intense that all logic and reason take a back seat when my emotions take the wheel. I am also Bipolar which adds to the intensity, no doubt. I tend to get along best with people having Scorpio Sun and Moons .
It's interesting that you said bipolar, Nick, because Taurus and Scorpio are opposite signs and create that seesaw effect of two extremes. Scorpio in itself is an extreme sign because it is ruled by two intense planets in Mars and Pluto. Thanks for watching!

Cancer risings are offended very easily, take things personally, and assume so many things. How can they identify between intuition and offense, and assumption? I have heard that all water risings can be "intuitive" but I find that Scorpio risings are much more accurate with picking up energy and seem more intuitive. I'm a Taurus rising too and was happy to hear that you are one as well. 😊 Your videos are acurate and detailed.
Thanks and that was an astute observation! What are your Sun and Moon? I agree. I think Pisces could do it if they can step away from projecting onto the other person. Cancer certainly is also very "sensitive" in the personal variety and anytime there is subjectivity it creates a barrier because the person cannot see the subject without injecting their own emotions onto the situation.

I have a sister that has a sun and moon in Leo and a cancer ascendant. She takes every little thing personal. I could be stating my options (in a fair and respectful way) or wanting to self improve myself to feel good and she'll think I'm being "shady" or trying to one up to her or whatever. Her energy drains me. Lol. You could be talking about the majority in a subject and she'll think you are just applying it to her. I know a few others with Cancer placement. I know one person with a Scorpio rising but they appear to be quite chill to me but I honestly don't know if they're super sensitive because I never can tell but they seem to know things and pickup on stuff. What is your Sun sign and how old are you? I have found (and read) that the Rising sign is most influential before the age of 30. So after that point, the Sun influence may be stronger. I do believe our Rising sign indicates the influence of family of origin.
