When I categorize and enter values manually, which is better in determining the values.. a value of zero or -1, or we leave the values as they are?
Each of them has their identification value. You have to put the range in the classify table to make classes. Watch this video carefully you have all YOUR answers here.
@@abirmechkour67 Actually what we have done here is creating and NDVI of our area. NDVI is filled with just numbers from -1 to 1. So, you have to create NDVI and find that file and set your range value.
Thanks so much for very helpful tutorial.
You are welcome
Pardon my mistakes. To calculate the square km it have to be divided by 1000 * 1000 = 1000000. I missed one zero.
How about meter?
Thank you! this is helpful video. i don't know how to calculate the area without using polygon or shape file until i found your video
I am glad that you've found it.
Sir, how do we know the break values for the classify range?

why should count multiple by 30x30? the count variable is already represent the 30x30 area rite? 30x30 area is counted by 1?
The image resolution is 30 meter. That's why you have to use 30x30. For 10m resolution it will be 10x10.
