Honestly it sounds pretty damn elegant to me, and has this nostalgic feeling because of the neoclassical style. Has sort of an 80s vibe. It really fits him well considering his age.

well he most likely lost egeria (previous hydro archon) because it is her speaking to him in the trailer when he is trying to stop the primordial sea water

I loop the trailer hundred times just to hear the music. It's cuz you won't ever get these mixed versions later as either there's no full version or they come in seperate parts of their own. They're one of a kind and priceless to me.

Music has nothing to do with the game getting better since the music has always been fantastic.
This was probably the first time I've heard a genshin track and immediately thought this 💀 but imo I think what made genshin distinct from honkai (both games) was how it had its own separate flare that I enjoyed more. That being said, honkai music has always been really fun so this track is still a banger.
