- This was a fun project I recently built for a dear friend of mine. Eucalyptus with Waterlox Marine finish - good combo for outdoor projects which doesn't break the budget!
Yes, I know mixing wood with fire is a risky endeavor. 😁 I would not recommend this project with a conventional gas or charcoal grill. The flat top, however is quite a bit different. The heat is concentrated on that cast iron top and it sits ABOVE the wood portions. Also, there is no issue with 'flame ups' as with traditional grills. I did several test runs throughout the build process, checking for any excessive heat transfer. Thankfully, all went well including a run of all four burners on high for 45 minutes!
As always, THANKS FOR WATCHING and I hope you enjoyed the process!

No talking, no loud music, no silly acting, no movie clips added in, just a good video and a very nice grill cart. Thanks
Now I want a Blackstone Griddle!!!
Jesus! As custom made as it can get!😎👌🏽
Beautiful work. That eucalyptus has such a great color and tone.
Dude, that’s an awesome flat grill stand!!!!💯🤩
Incredible!! So impressive.
That’s awesome
Beautiful work!
Excellent!
Looks amazing great work
Ben, you should have...when are you going to deliver it? Great video!
Damn, that looks sharp. Great job.
Great build. Sweet set-up! Hope you enjoy the hell out of it this summer!
Hi beautiful work and design I've been thinking of doing something just like that myself. Has it been ok with the heat generated? That's the only thing that's been holding me back . I saw the way you worked in the venting tastefully done!
nice
Beautiful cart!
Only one concern--drop-in grill heads warn to keep combustibles away from the grill box. Shouldn't that be just as true for a griddle?
Wow, want to make me one for our Church Blackstone Griddle?
Very cool design and well executed! What wood species did you choose? Semper Fi.
Thanks - eucalyptus
I just watched to the end...Now you need some tools for the Griddle.
Do you sell that tipe of patio furniture?
Very nice build! The wood handles tied it all together. One question, are those exterior grade casters? Thanks!
Not specifically “outdoor” but stainless steel parts. This was the best option I could find which had the leveling feature.
@@cleancutwoodworks I hope they hold up well for you. It certainly is a nice looking cart. Adding the hole for the propane tank was also a great anti-tip feature. Another great build!
