This table arrived well packaged and on time. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
Bought all my material frim Home Depot for under $100. Love that this doesn't require special tools or techniques. Perfect for the average beginner. Thanks!!! About to start mine now!
I believe they do simple and cost effective projects that turn out 👌 decent so beginners like myself grow more confident with each project familiarizing ourselves with tools, hardware and wood. Keep up the great craftsmanship for people such as myself. Thank you. One day I'll be blowing out a hot drill bit.. ⚒🛠
Thanks for the video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Rozardner Easy Food Reality (probably on Google)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for learning the trick to build great sheds and master woodworking without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my BF finally got cool results with it.
Excellent Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched - Rozardner Easy Food Reality (do a search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for learning the trick to build great sheds and master woodworking minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my work buddy at last got cool results with it.
Excellent Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Rozardner Easy Food Reality (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning the trick to build great sheds and master woodworking minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend Sam finally got amazing success with it.
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection th-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
I just got all materials from Lowe's tonight to build tomorrow. About $90 dollars for everything. Once again good video! Very detailed and parts list perfect! ;)
I just finished making the country kitchen table and bench! My wife loves them! I'm going to male a second bench but the next one will be short enough that we can slide it under the table. I love this coffee table idea since we recently got a new sectional, but we also got an ottoman with the sectional. I don't think the wife will part with the ottoman.lolI think I'm going to use the bench plans but make the legs quite a bit longer and use it as a table that will go behind the sectional to set drinks and such on. Great videos guys!
I have just found you guys... binge watching, loving and saving everything I watch! I am kind of new woodworking and I can’t wait to make a lot of these! Thank you for sharing! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I'm working on this table currently but decided not to put it on wheels as I don't want the kids turning it into a go cart. I simply compensated a few inches on the 4 by 4s to make up the height difference. Thanks for the vid!
FYI, the 2x4 pieces are suppose to be 28" long, not 26" if you want to be flush. I didn't realize this until I made the table lastnight and followed dimensions provided. I had to take it apart and make the neccessary cuts on the 2x4s to make it flush. Table looks great by the way.
Glad the table looks great! With the dimensions we provide, the table will be flush. The actual width of a 2x2 is 1.5" and the actual width of a 1x8 is 7.25". The 26" length of the 2x4s in combination with two 2x2s on either end (which will add 3" of width) the total width of the framework will be 29", which will be the same width of four 1x8s put together. Hope this helps!
Love the design and simple to follow video. However, I would consider disclaiming two things worth mentioning to new woodworkers: 1. Joining to end grain is not preferred and 2. attaching the tops directly to the legs and supports will result in large splitting/cracks with any wood movement, which will occur in your larger boards.
Sorry, But I don't care about any of the previous negative comments. You guys are great. Nice fairly simple projects, well thought out and presented. One of my very favorite TH-cam subscriptions. Keep the videos coming.
This is great!!! I made the rustic headboard for my daughters room from your plans. Turned out BEAUTIFUL!! Get sooo many complimemts on it.. Next stop..Rustic coffee table maybe??!! ...Lol.. :) Nice job guys!! Keep it up!!
I like the simplicity and low cost of your builds. I made three rustic console tables using your design and have since sold 2 variations of them. One question though..what have you guys got against glue? LOL
MrSeaneboy is there anyway I could email you? I would like to talk a little more about this. I have the same idea and would love to start building things and wood working more!
I love love love u guys videos. They are so easy and doable lol. U two are awesome please keep making these videos!!!! Can u please make a table or console table with steel or metal legs???
+Yew Seng Cheong lol u have issues Thanx for the laugh hun haaaaaahhhhhaaaa. I said that because I'm a fan of their work and I want to know how to do it. U said it to be critical lol. but I'm not going to argue u with u life is to short hun. U have yourself a fabulous day love
Love your video. We made the coffee table and it came out beautiful. Can you guys make a diy video for a tilt out trash bin for the house? I've seen a few videos, but none were very informative.

Walmart has a hart work table that folds down to almost nothing and comes with 2 clamps it’s $60 it would Fit under your bed or in the closet, others make them Also it’s just cheaper at Walmart. I use to do everything on the floor trust me you want a table with even basic clamps if you want to get into making these things. Not to mention Midor saws aren’t made for this and don’t support boards well
Love these videos, I use this wood a lot and it's good to use these for patterns. One thing I noticed you should never measure more than one piece of or length at a time... just a thought
I just found your channel a few days ago and subscribed immediately! Very cool videos. I'm planning on building a few of your ideas. Please make a new video soon!
I build furniture furniture , and don't use stains.I use a torch to get that look . maybe you guys could try it .the torch is available at advanced auto .retails for about 20 bucks. Nice work .
Hey, do you think if you attached the wheels onto the bottom frame in the inside corners that the table would have the floating look and still be stable?
I thought exactly the same thing. It would look better with the casters somewhat hidden and as long as they were large enough to keep the wood off of the floor.
good goat Yes, and since it's going on a rug maybe the casters are useless for anything other than stubbing your toe on, or perhaps letting you snuggle up to the edge of the table with your feet going underneath. I think it might look nicer flat on the rug, but perhaps there's another reason for getting it up off the rug? To make it easier to move for cleaning? To keep it from leaving a nice white square in the middle of the rug? Lol idk, so many thoughts for such a simple thing haha. Let's build it goat and give it a try!

I just discovered your videos and they are very good. I have some questions on this one. Why don't you stain the components prior to assembly? It seems to me it would be less work involved that way. Also, have you tried to locate and use old cast iron wheels?

junkman 81 I'm thinking about doing the same thing, due to not wanting the wheels. What were your measurements for the 4x4's? I'm new to this lol
Andrea Beauford i dont remember off hand. i just stood one up in the garage and made it about knee high
junkman 81 how did it turn out? After 10 months is it still alive?
Austin Courtney its still live and well. Its tough and holds up to the kids!

Yea I actually just realized the same thing so Ill have to recut my 2 x 4 's
Yes our table was not flush either. We also had to take apart and fix it. Too double amount of time to do this table

Gianna Sharma vlogs and videos is it still standing? Is it sturdy? Others mention boards separating. Has this happend to you?
Where the measurements accurate in this video?
@@brendaocampo2932
No measurements are not accurate. Per other texts the 2x4 should be 28”. Not 26”
Looks great and very functional. With those big wheels hanging out at the corners, watch your toes.

how much did this cost
Great build!! :)
Nice job guys your videos are addictive! Did you use glue or do you need to? Pro job.....keep them projects coming!
Excellent. I am trying to make one. 4×1×8 comes to 32" whereas 1×4 is 26 and sides are 2×2 which measures to 30.
Pl guide.
