    Hi! It would be my first time trying to make a river table. My current thoughts are to make a small coffee table and later advance to a bigger one. My questions -
    1. What kind of wood is best for a river table?
    2. Please suggest woods that we get in India (i stay in Hyderabad)
    3. Can we coat epoxy resin on pine wood ?
    4. Does epoxy resin make any soft wood stronger if coated completely ?

    • @BohriAli
      @BohriAli  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dry seasoned hardwood. Don’t use scrap soft wood like pine. We supply custom woods
      You can coat it over pine wood
      Yes, partially but that will cause it to warp as well

      Hey, We have used a thick plastic sheet. Alternatively you can use any highly glossy surface. A polypropylene sheet works best!
      Also, you can purchase resin to make your table from: bohriali.com/store/haksons-resin-supplies/2308-18011-haksons-ultra-clear-all-purpose-epoxy-resin-and-hardener.html#/674-pack_size-650_g

    1- do i need Rubio Monocoat Oil and Rubio Monocoat Raw Wood Cleaner both or this are two options you're giving to finish the surface?
    2- how much time this two products have life for the shine? can we apply this again to get the new shine again in future?
    3- please provide links to buy this two products as I can't find Rubio Monocoat Raw Wood Cleaner on your website.
    4- if i want to make any table with resin and wood in which material the metal or wood legs should be screw? in wood or in resin? which material will be more long lasting?

      Hi,
      This is Rain-tree wood slabs. Since these nails are very small, they do not show up on the wood.

    How do you cover/protect your resin when the humidity is very high? Specially in monsoons. The Hakson resin I tried turned out to be cloudy and milky after curing.

    • @BohriAli
      @BohriAli  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the resin will cure perfectly clear if there is no direct contact of liquid moisture. Please do send us pictures of how it has cured for you.
