Thanks for reacting to this awesome performance by Angelina. The Barefoot Angel is a once-in-a-lifetime musical talent with her angelic voice. Yes, she modified the lyrics of the "Back to Black" because the lyrics weren't appropriate for a 10 years old child.

Great reaction… so far. I had to interrupt my viewing of it to give you my two cents worth about “Back to Black.” Yes, Angelina rewrote the lyrics to “B2B.” It’s a great song (although it’s not my favorite), but it’s not a song that cries out to be a vehicle for deeper, more profound lyrics. Quite frankly, the song NEEDED to be rewritten by Angelina because the song was very adult… for some they might consider it “pornographic.” 😳 Angelina did a fine job “exorcising” the offending passages, but the changes were more in keeping with the song stylistically. They fit the music but their literal message less important and is somewhat obtuse. The changes were more about maintaining the “feel” of the song, and less about conveying a newer, “improved” message. BTW, Angelina’s brilliance at doing this is remarkable and intelligent. It would require reacting to the original song, by the original artist, and then comparing it to Angelina’s version. Lyrics was rewrote on "Back to Black" and she had only 2 days to rewrite it, so double-impressive. So a redo will be ok. Great reaction!
