      Hi Akshat
Your videos are always very insightful and gives a new perspective.
This is Anmol Shankar alumni of IIM Kashipur (Batch 16-18). I am your subscriber and regular follower on TH-cam.
I have shared my interest for GMAT demo clas and has posted some queries on gmat via Contact Us section of gmatcaseovercoffee.
However, it has been a while and I haven't received any confirmation or response on my queries.
Request for your inputs on below mentioned points
      1) Commencement Date for next GMAT boot camp
      2) Type of materials and resources shared for self study and preparation
      3) Post GMAT support in terms of college selection, essay writing and interview preparation
I look forward to kick start my GMAT preparation very soon under your team's guidance.

How would you rate Indian one year MBA programs like ISB, IIM programs.. compared to global counterparts like INSEAD, Oxford Said, Judge etc?

    • @yashhemrajani5608
      @yashhemrajani5608 ปีที่แล้ว

Isb is having a good mba program but the main thing is curriculum difference , alumi network, and nationalities difference because In isb you only see indian students and Indian teacher around the college and in isb there are very few companies come for foreign placements but on the other hand if you join these top colleges like insead , lbs , stanford , harvard , Wharton then there are more than 80 nationalities students study there from different nationalities then you make different type of network and you will see what type of knowledge and information they have and different ideas and different perspectives they have that matters alot and the brand value also and the curriculum isb uses the curriculum that made by them- harvard and stanford, knowledge also matters

Would love to hear your thoughts on one-year vs. two-year MBA programmes. It appears the former is more prevalent in Europe, while the latter is common in the USA. Also, with European MBA programmes, recruiting is split across countries e.g. UK, Germany, France etc Any drawbacks to this compared to the US programmes where you'd be looking at opportunities within one country.

Hi Akshat, thank you for sharing your opinion. I'm glad you have an unbiased & practical view of things. I'd request you to also talk about the Blended Learning MBA programmes and compare them with Offline & Online MBAs to bust some myths.
Working professionals like me can't quit our jobs but also want to taste the campus life a tad bit. For eg. IIMA offers ePGP - 5 weeks on campus and the remaining classes in VCNow centers in multiple cities. On the other hand, IIMB offers 2yr weekend program but all classes are on-campus and thus not feasible for non-Bangaloreans.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Hi Akshat,
Again a good video, but please be more specific in content. Your points were something (pardon me) even a 12th class student will be able to tell.
In my opinion as your dedicated viewer (if it matters) is to tell the viewers things like:
1- Since Covid-19, world has changed a lot so you need to have some experience before entering a MBA school. Saying this because recruitments nowadays give pre MBA relevant work experience more relevance than 5 years back.
2- Basics like Advanced Excel, SQL & Python is now mandatory for most of the people going for MBA in Finance, Marketing, Data Strategy etc.
3- World is now moving from a degree based recruitment to skill based recruitment, hence acquire some specific skills before getting into a MBA college.
4- While studying MBA, learn from colleagues who have pre MBA experience in different sectors about the outlook of those sectors 10-15 years from now, so that if companies come during placement in those domains you (candidate) will have better knowledge.

    1. One year MBA in India (ISB/IIM A/IIM B)
    2. Indian MBA with international MBA - Please include how much class size matters. Eg - (Huge class size means better networking but it leads to more competition)
    3. In terms of ROI, if someone's average salary is already same as the Bschool average salary should the person go for an MBA at that moment or push it to next 3-4 year
    4. How easy or tough to move to Consulting/PM role coming from a tech background ?? In these kind of scenario should someone try for for IJP or go for MBA.

What are the kind of advantages you get post an MBA If your post MBA goal is to become an entrepreneur? Does a good brand viz Insead or Dahlberg help you get a better set of employees/customers/investors ?

Yesss. Just as I was looking for the answer to this question. Kudos to Akshat for putting the question in the right perspective and helping to answer it logically.
Would love to know from you if there is an age bar for doing regular MBA.

Hi Akshat! Thanks for the insightful video. I did have a quick couple of questions though. For entrepreneurial pursuits after international MBA (as was in your case) how did you balance educational debts and startup growth, which often takes some time to start getting the cash inflow? Also do VCs consider our debts when we want to pursue our own business?

Hi again a great video Akshat. But can you make a video on this topic for average students who cannot get grades or funds to get into elite institutes and pursue MBA from an average institute.

    Hi Akshat
Really appreciate the content you are putting out
Would it be possible to do a video on a deep dive on introspection candidates need to do for finding out their "Why MBA"
Should we read books on Product Management, Consulting etc
What would be the best strategy
