  • We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, one God in three persons. While we have much to say about the Father and the Son, the Holy Ghost remains seemingly the “unknown” Person in God. It seems there has always been an appeal to the Holy Ghost in the history of the Church, but these various movements have almost always ended badly. As a result, the Church speaks more and more discretely about the Holy Ghost. Let us consider one of these historical movements… namely the one brought about by the pious Trappist Abbot of the late 12th Century, Joachim of Fiore (ca. 1130-1202). It is worthwhile to speak in some detail about Joachim because his example serves to bring out the possibilities and dangers of speaking about the Holy Ghost apart from the Son or His Church. And, his case is one that is still affecting us today. For more please visit www.reginaproph... & remember to say 3 Hail Marys for the priest

Yesterday I said to myself, "I would like to be made holy and give myself to the Holy Ghost but soon after that when I was praying the Rosary and got to the decent of the Holy Ghost mystery I noticed the He was a little perturbed at me and made me to understand that He wanted me to give myself fully to Our Lord Jesus and His Sacred Heart and then to Our Holy Mother and Her Immaculate Heart in union with Our Lords Sacred Heart. I felt like a child that was wondering around and then being taken by the hand by the Holy Ghost and being led back the Sacred Heart and like He was saying to me to paraphrase, "No over here".

Thank you for the clarification. The Doctrine under discussion was seductive, and led many away.
It has proven to be so seductive in fact, that over the centuries, many irreligious ideologues have made use of it in order to provide an enchanting framework for an otherwise indigestible set of mutually contradictory apothegms.
    [Marx & Blavatsky esp.].
Nice words do not sound Doctrine make.
