I also have a PSVR2 on order. I hope someday we can get an all access social software that allowed everyone in regardless of VR brand. For example your in a grand central station type room with a door going to a social platform that all have access to and other doors based on the games you own and hardware. You would need a universal camera along with a silly looking jumpsuit with the ping pong ball things on it for the avatars.
I guess they can't do much with the Quests power without it giving you neck strain. As it's untethered and needs all the power on board, there will always be sacrifices.
@@developRHUNT yeah... but I just feel like Quest is always gonna be holding back and lagging behind tethered headsets. Let's hope they develop some ultra cheap and small tech so Quest can hold it's own. Until then people need to get over cable fear. One bonus of tethered is it stops people running into traffic :p
@@shaolinpunkFTW Oh no doubt wireless will ALWAYS be behind tethered. That's just the nature of the beast. But I feel only wireless will ever go mainstream. Or better yet, a trojan horse for people to eventually get into tethered VR. First impressions are everything, so wireless VR needs to get a bit beefier imo

Agreed! Headsets should be the new computer/monitor setup, and VR apps should be the new website. Shouldn’t matter the headset you have
Thanks for this! We’re all betting big :)
Thanks for watching!

I mean, you'd hope technology will eventually advance!
