I like the variety of characters this game seems to have. Swordsman, gunslinger, magician, archer, spear wielder, bard, fist fighter, etc.

@DraBahamutShirocenny Yes the "Fabula Nova Crystallis". Final Fantasy 13, 13-2, versus 13 and Type-O are all set in this universe. They are on the same world but set in different time periods, set around different key points within the mythology of this series.
Idk why people are complaining about this game. I played it. It's good. I actually enjoyed it. It's different, yes. But I like it. : D It's also actually pretty hard compared to the other FF I played. I can't wait for the HD version. I hope there is no loading time on the world map. That would be nice.

Have you noticed (end of the video) that most summons from FFVIII seem to have returned in this episode?
@Thinker1985 The only summon shown at the end originally exclusive to FFVIII was Diablos. The rest were in FF since FFIII.
I think Type-0 will convince the fans that action and FF does work together without problems. I read way to many people saying that FF15 gameplay looks bad 'cause it isn't the normal system.
I think you will be wrong.
People who don't like action based battle system won't like just because they are part of a series they once loved.

Loving This. Maybe Camera control is the only problem I can see and besides that this just AWESOME! If you guys notice but the enemy life bars are reminiscent of the first Kingdom hearts where they have multi colors depicting how much life they have. Awesome!

@Thinker1985 Well he's shown up a few more times since VIII. He was in the Advance version of VI, was in FFXI, there's a different version of him in Revenant Wings and a monster that has his name and looks VERY similar to him in FFXII.

No. It was announced a long time ago, and it's going to be on 2 UMDs.
@iiemglvctour sure, extract the contents of ff_type-0_summer.zip with winzip or winrar. then connect your PSP to your computer then open it like you would a hard drive. go to the x:\psp\game directory & copy the extracted directory (NPJH90252) into that folder. that's all there is to it, once you disconnect the demo will be in your game folder. hope this helps

@Safros9 yeah, that's the thing with these Square games on PSP using Crisis Core engine. They all look beautiful when in motion,but the flaw becomes very visible when not in motion. There's one exception to this though: Birth By Sleep and 3rd Birthday looked absolutely pretty for a game using CC engine overall,but again, both games are not nearly as long and huge in scope like Type O gonna be, especially 3rd Birthday which was very short.

No, it's on the PSP. (It can be downloaded on the Japanese PSN, but the physical release is on UMD). There are rumors that it will be ported to the Vita but no official confirmation yet.

@Jiyaijo just to clarify something Persona 4 Ultimate Mayonoka Arena is a fighting game(PS3) while Persona 4 is a JRPG for the PS2 and the remake for Persona 4 is Called "Persona 4 Golden" is for The Vita only (all persona remakse are for portable consoles only like P1,P2,P3)
Hi, I downloaded it in english and all the thing. But when I start it and when it is on "Now Loading", the game stay in that screen and it is doesn't running. I have tried with many downloading sources but stills without doing nothing. Can you help me please.
Camera view is pretty messed up those. You keep seeing other characters infront of the camera blocking your view, not even making those transparent.
Does any one know if this games co-opable? I saw guest 1 and guest 2 during the video. Were those just npcs helping or people? My guess is probably not but if some one could clarify it would be a big help

@TheDarkestTone yeah, like today! I want it on the store & available when I get my Vita on the 15th (not that I expect that will happen). from what I hear, this game uses the 2nd analog when played on the Vita :)

Squeenix confirmed that they are probably going to use the UMD Passport thing for the Vita, where the UMD version comes with a Vita copy that you can use.... specifically, the internationa version of the UMD is made solely for the PSP, and the game is solely for the PSP, but while other people have probably opted for the Vita system and don't want t carry two systems at once, they also updated some of the games features to work on Vita, like menu stuff and control ease like camera control

even if you download it you stil have to swtich between two diffrend game files to play it.
It is stated in the wiki "November 2012 Tabata stated that there were currently no plans to release it in North America or Europe."

@Jiyaijo actually psp is very popular in Japan which is why Square Enix made alot of their games on the psp, and this one alot of fans wanted including some FF fans outside of Japan. The big, major problem is not the game itself, its the timing of the release because the ps vita is schedule to be release in japan on dec 17. And then releasing this game outside of Japan since the vita will be out by the time it'll come out and the low sales of the psp in NA and Europe.

The only connection is that they're both developed by Square Enix. Completely different stories / universes though.

And I heard Final Fantasy 15 is basically Final Fantasy Versus 13.
Versus 13 has been in production for a long time and already know it looks awesome!
@Jiyaijo Well this game has actually been in the works for years, before even people thought of the 'NGP'. Also this game is going to be more than 1UMD, so it will be ATLEAST 1.6 Gigs, the max umd compacity, meaning it will be a bit harder to pirate due to the big filesize, so some people like me might actually pay like $40 to buy it.
And also, it hasnt been confirmed in america and europe yet, i think.

unless you've forgoten "back in the day" they were a really small time company who BARELY got by(that's how final fantasy got started in the 1st place) once they got ff1 out the way they were able to take it slowly yet they still did mutiple games at the same time(tho just not as many as now)
