If the ponds in your area aren't turning out great results start looking for some of those creek smallies...monstrously fun fishing...
Sick Pat id love to but i live in maryland.... smallies are few and far between , i can probably drive an hour or two and find some but they’ll be half a pound

Found a morel yesterday just growing in my yard next to the house. Thing was huge! Like 10-12" tall and the bottom of the cap was as big around as my forearm.
We went all over the woods last year came back and found 15 around are tree in the yard it was crazy

Elm trees that are dead the bark is falling off or has fallen off and the tree looks smooth look under the bark on the ground also ..... Fruit trees also produce morels

Lolol. So I finally was able to bank fish with this damn shelter in place deal in IL. I had purchased a crank wrap for one of my provokes. I had my new Shimano slx dc. I told myself to tie on something I didn’t care about when testing the casting ability of the new reel. I didn’t listen. 2nd cast. Provoke and crank bait lost in a tree. 😂😂😂

Caught my first frog fish a few days ago and I was casting into the middle of my family lake trying to practice action. No lie, 50-60 ft towards the center of the lake and a 2 pound bass obliterated it. I wish I could explain how that kind of stuff even happens.
