- Testing the depth capabilities of the Minelab Go Find 60 Metal detector
It will hit 10 inches on an air test for a 25 cent piece
Depth out in the field will be less. Maybe 7 inches for coins in my soil
Overall not too bad for how easy to use and portable it is.
I'm actually impressed. It does tell you a target is there. It may not always give an accurate read, but you know it's there.
Bloody great little detector keeps on surprising me.
I own a minelab etrack and with so many bells and whistles i seam to dig every signal any way.
just ordered the go 60 because of the fold down feature for travel. I mostly hunt beaches in Texas and i don't like using a backhoe to get a deep Penney or dime.
The rings are fairly shallow in the summer months with a lot of people so this 60 might work out for me.
I like the portability and looks of this detector ......if it's made out of nylon plastic it'll last longer than Metal ..... Thanks for the well done reviews
Thanks
Keep in mind that the longer a coin has been in the ground the metal will slowly start leaching out and create a halo effect and any metal detector will pick it up easier and deeper then a freshly buried coin . Example , that dime at 8 inches will come in much clearer if it has been in the ground 6 months or longer a if the soil is wet all metal detectors will go even deeper . Example , my AT Gold will find dimes easy at 10 inches but when the soil is wet 13 inches . I think you got a hell of a good deal . Yours will do the wet sand at the beach , mine will not because of the materialization (SALT) Dry sand it will do . Thumbs up :)
My Garrett Ace 250 detects cans 20in. deep, would have liked to see a gold test;
Performs exactly how a cheap detector should really ..and its perfect for a backpack or in the car also works on the beach pretty well. I have no idea why people compare these to high end detectors like its gonna do what a deus or an At pro does just because it folds and looks cool. i think if minelab made a similar folding design for the equinox it would do really really well , i find the shape of this one appealing and the multi frequency power of the equinox also appealing.
I purchased one; so we'll see. I'm a general contractor and carry a lot of tools so I can add this in my truck because of it's very small size. Took seconds to find a property pin I've been searching for.
I find the identification of the coin as iron very worrying as most wouldn't dig it. Reasonable depth though. Thanks for great video.
Thanks Jesse Ventura!
Go find é top!
GREAT REVIEW
It hits the 10in .25 just like the Vaquero does, so its a good beep and dig mach ? it his better then some of the othe new mach you tested, just dont pay attenion to the readings just the sounds
+Nickel Tabs True. if it would disc a little better at deeper depths it actually would be awesome. For the money a person can't go wrong. Other than build quality as some have stated. Although I never had an issue with this one.
Thanks again for the great info 👍👍👍👍
Im curious what score you would give a ctx3030, id even let you borrow mine if your in the nepa area.
+Rob v Someday I'll get it. Getting to ;late this year. I've owned Minelabs and my guess it will do quite well. But hard on the pocket book
how many cm's is shallow indecator and how many cm's is deep on the display
I didnt know Jessie the body Ventura liked metal detecting
Its hitting the coin at 8" and 10" even if it is coming in as iron it still hits it so its deeper than 6 or 7" !!
I bought this machine, it is a very cool metal detector, but the only detail they forgot is: they forgot to display how deep is a target, there's nothing on the screen
TesoroDigger. My detector is two knobs and a switch lol
You don't really need it
Si lo marca la profundidad amigo aún lado del volumen 3 segmento profundo 1. Segmento bajo tierra
Is this an established test garden? Or recently planted?
Larry Boyle Since fall of last year so it isn't too established yet. Not sure how much it will affect things. Suppose if the coins were in for a few years they ring up somewhat better.
Where did You get ir
This guy sounds like Jesse Ventura
It is!
Was the test done with silver coins or clad coins?
All clad and one deep silver dollar
I am finding the same. The iron sound and icon comes on with lots of targets. Even if they are not iron!
I own a 66 and that hits coins easily to 10 inches with less sensitivity just got to know how to use it last coin I found in surf at nine inches
how much is it?
I have this detector and it will pick up a dime deeper than 8 inches my friend
Can this detect gold, silver and other minerals.
+Flynn Gaves Yes it can
+Flynn Gaves how deep can it detect gold.
como posso comprar um desses e a onde encontrar uma loja para comprar
No test with gold ring.
I guess you will just have to dig everything
Is yaparmi sizce
I've found coins to 10 inch no problem
