That's one of the biggest problems in the game. "I'm going to report you" -1. All the karma system does is boost gamers ego's. No way near enough compliments are made. Ghostbuster just reinforces this. Reported all 3. I could understand the Vlad but the others? CV could of done with a poor play too. I have had quite a few games where I have some how carried top tier, or finished top. Yet been reported by a couple of angry gamers, because I haven't played the game how they think I should play it. I'm sure others have experienced the same. I do compliment as much as I can though.
yup, I agree. But maybe having the report button helps let the steam out so they get less annoying in chat. I quite often use the report feature when someone asks to report someone else for no good reason - only I report the someone, not the someone else.
Yea, I understand its ranked and its better to have *a* plan and stick to it then no plan, but reporting them for not following your advice is quite douchebaggy to do. Plays poorly is such a stupid thing to report for, and I don't even agree with that category WG provided (I'd sooner they have a "plays CV" option than that).
Takes but a moment to thank someone for being pivotal, friendly or plain awesome. This is one of the most complete replays you, Jingles, have ever posted. Great play from the owner, terrible mistakes from teammates but also politeness and rudeness in chat and all kinds of human behaviour. This feels so... normal, a classic game in WoWs :D Anyway, I understand the concept of "insulting is pointless" but I can't stop feeling the CV player and his rage commenting. I know, it is not good, but I don't know how many horrible teammates came before this particular battle and I think only a minor fraction of players can resist the amount of stupidity you can get on WoWs. That said, all honours to ghostbuster and his great patience!
@douglas wahid Actually people usually respond with violence if you refer to them with harsh words, that's a natural answer if you feel attacked. The most usual consequence I see is not even think about what they could be misdoing and usually reply harsh as well just to bring up a useless flame.
I've walked the decks of the Battleship North Carolina and it is a beautiful ship, those sixteen inch guns are monstrous in person. The shells are the size of a full grown man it's a beautiful ship.
They should just remove that karma thing...it doesn't serve a purpose..anybody who is jealous can report you as poor player then karma goes down...pointless...just for abuse by sour graping player.
Son to his dad: "Daddy why is the sea salty?" Father to his son: " Son, World of Tank players came and started crying in anquish for days and days" (legende has it that they are still crying to this day)
Once there was only land and tanks and hyperaggressive players...but then they started crying and cryed on for centurys and this is how the ocean came into existance. The players saw the ocean and some of them thought it was good, so they took warships and sailed away, became (a little bit) less aggressive and now this is world of warships. Still toxic and full of stupid idiots but a paradise compared to world of tanks
@@Momi_V Praise be to our Lord and savior Jingles for leading us down the path of water, without which we would surely still be toiling in the sands of El Halluf, subject to the cruel whims of +/-25% RNG. Amen.
Jingles taught us the art of pack TOG. Players forget even TOG should angle her armour. Then we found World of Warships. And everyone played their sea ships as they did their land ships. And forgot to angle their armour. And so they got citadelled from the other end of the map and cried 'unfair' and 'cheaters' and much salt sank into the seas.
Actually, I was thinking that Ghostbuster's aim is relatively poor. It's rich that some twat was calling hax on him just because he got some lucky shots.
Had the enemy team realized all American BB's are made of straw in the WG universe ... a simple HE shell somewhere in the postal code would instantly start 4 fires and that NC would be on the bottom before your salvo reloads.
Well.... Looks like not really good defined sarcasm to me. If read you could clearly think it's no sarcasm. To solve this: He just talked from the perspective of the enemies. In their eyes it was so disgusting, filthy and outright Nurgle himself that their brains melted in an instand to nothing more than sludge. So they asked the next available Grey Knight to banish him back to the warp where they believed he came from. Problem is: A Grey Knight can't banish another Grey Knight :P Simple law.
The 1 thing i like about the CV/Flak rework is the accuracy ratings. DD DP guns are not the most accurate derps in the game, and i love when carriers write em off as easy prey. (Just a guy who laughs his ass off with 20-60 air kills a match in Mutsuki when there are CVs)
Jingles what I love most about your videos is not only that it’s about awesome massive ships doing crazy damage or explosions!!! But it’s your commentary!! It really shows how much you enjoy and love what your doing. Keep it up!!!
14:26 When I first got my Georgia there was a smolensk sitting in smoke and firing, I aimed where he was shooting, fired, and managed to sink him; he proceeded to call aim bot after that. Always cheers me up when people say stuff like that.
Yep. When you get 2000 base XP in Ranked Sprint and you're still *1600 base XP* behind the leader... When your top guy has almost as much base XP as the three top losers put together... you know you have seen God's work getting done. That was magnificent.
Nay its just ghostbuster all over. I saw one match between him and Flambass. The rest of the player, on both sides, didn't count for anything. GB came out of the shadows and potted Flambass. Flambass did the same to him the game before.
Very well played! Respect. And Strikermans reaction in chat is very understandable, bcoz shit like that happens to often. Steamrolls, one sides matches, yolo players, lemming trains - countless times every day. Good, close and entertaining matches are super rare these days, and that just sad. You just get filled up with bad matches, and then the emotions will break lose....even when its just a comment in chat. And to be honest - there are way worst comments in the ingame chats, we all experienced that.
This is what i want to hear when i watch a battle review ! Thank you Jingles, amazing vids and a true nice person you are ! I started watching World of Warships ( WOT included ) with your reviews and since than you are the father of good sence, logics and training ( tactics + patience ) for me ! God bless you !
Great video! I've seen Ghostbuster before and he never disappoints. I am sure the WG complaint department had a good laugh, made some popcorn, and watched the battle as an audience.
I learn a lot watching these videos. Glad you talk about politeness in chat. I've been playing for 3 weeks and am fully aware I am not very good yet. Definitely don't need to be reminded of it every time I make a rookie error! Too many idiots in chat.
I can understand that. Even after reaching the higher tiers, i'd come back down to the low-mid tiers to grind other ship lines. And when dealing with new players, i'd always approach situations with some tact, as i was always aware that they would not have too much experience yet. I'd try and give helpful advice, instead of insulting those who were clearly still learning and looking to have fun.
Thumbs up for trashing the Daily Mail in the description! (Also I've watched like 15 of your Warships videos today alone and am hooked. Keep em coming!)
There is/was an "aimbot" mod, I googled it when someone in one of my matches was bitching about it too. Apparently all it does is put a lead predictor marker on your screen, it does nothing to alter the ballistics of the rounds it just shows a mark that basically says "If you aim at this point and fire and the target doesn't change speed or heading you rounds 'may' hit." So it's pretty much for people who don't know how to, or want to learn how to, judge the lead on a target, it's a ToS violation to use and may get your account banned and judging from the comments on the website that hosts the mod it gets broken by pretty much every WoWS update. So yeah "aimbot" I'd rather just learn how to aim, which would be easier if I didn't keep swapping ship lines, German BB's ballistics are a mite different from British CLs :D
How do you think the game was programmed to miss in the first place. ROLLS EYES Deniable plausibility , ever hear of it ? If you get in the right clan I bet you'd be favored.
Atago B is "DawnofSol" and he is dead silent, Shokaku is "Jever_Original" and can't stop with the aimbot nonsense. Jingles didn't have a moment this time.
It may have been 3 years ago, but that is some solid advice even today on how to deal with bad teammates. Keep to yourself and maybe offer pointers and tips in a friendly and respectful way. I've had plenty of times where I've messaged a guy after battle who I thought was struggling and div'd up to subtly nudge them in the right direction. Example: saw a guy charge in with his Bismarck in the first 8 minutes and die. I messaged him afterwards and offered to div up with him. He realized that secondary builds arent the meta anymore and switched to a more 'conventional' play style. Along with helping him get better at the game, I made a friend who still plays WoWs with me to this day
@@durgan5668 I've found that as I get older I still have similar rage moments as I did when younger, I just get over them almost instantly because you (hopefully) have learnt to accept that shit will just go wrong sometimes, especially in online games.

How the compliment/report system is supposed to work with enemy players: You report the bad players (whether in skill or attitude) and compliment the good ones. How it works in practice (at least for apparently everyone except me): Report the bad players for the same reason as before, also report the good players because they use hacks, don't compliment anyone.
After my terrible experiences with the COLORADO, the NC was heaven. CO put you into the Splash zone at Sea World while the NC left you praying for rescue IN the tank with Shamu. The Speed and Turning and Accuracy makes it my favorite T8.
jingles can I ask that you be slightly stricter about concealment vs cover? Smokescreens are concealment. an Island is cover. basically, cover is concealment you can't shoot through.
I have visited the USS North Carolina (BB-55) and the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). Both ships are worth visiting. The sister ship to the North Carolina was the USS Washington (BB-56) This was the ship that mortally wounded the IJN Kiroshima during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal 15 November 1942. After action report submitted by the commander of the Washington is a good read.
Willis 'Ching' Lee was a great commander who did not take any bs. He trained his crews as efficiently as possible so he could do more interesting things like making elaborate mouse traps.
N. Carolina : spanks 6 ships and sevely damages the 7th because they make horrible mistakes. Enemy team : "He's hacking! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPORT If only some people wouldn't have their brains where their ass is and sit on it all the time...
It's not what I would have done unless there was some salt to go with it... although the Vlad alone seemed to be a pretty basic BB driver. Full speed ahead, minimal rudder, minimal attempt to reduce damage taken.
I can think of a number of games where I saw players who clearly didn't understand basic game concepts yet possessed supernatural gunnery skills. I can also remember a game where I was in a Kawachi. I saw a cruiser sail behind an island and go out of detection. I thought the hell with it and lobbed a broadside over the far end of the island. 3 citadels, ship explodes. It was one of those roll the dice shots you could never replicate.
i feel like warmgaming dosent actually care about that button and its just a way for angry boy's to not spam the actual reports with it.. probably a dead button to make scrubs feel better
The advice was good but it's still his fault. His advice was kind of confusing and that's what makes it a bad advice. Instead of advising, he should've just requested them to do something. Like say, "you don't have to go to A but don't let enemies pass through, because if they flank us, we're dead." Super concise, to the point and leave no room for confusion. It also relays the importance of cap A not being overtaken.
Commander Charlton sir. Just want to let you know. I was watching Quickybaby’s stream on Twitch yesterday, and me being a selfless, genuinely caring person, said in chat that “he sounded exhausted”. He originally thought I said “he looked exhausted”, took offense to this, and said “shut up”. I think he noticed afterwards that I said sorry. If you see this and he still doesn’t believe me, please let him know I didn’t mean any disrespect of one of my favorite live-streamers 😭. I do hope this suffices as an acceptable apology for Quickybaby and I NEVER meant anything rude. It is an unfortunate weakness of mine to show concern for others all the time. May Quickybaby continue to run great streams and LONG LIVE THE KING OF THE GNOMES. -The Tank Commander PS: feel free to unconditionally call me a massive wanker.
Øystein A. I can’t help if I’m selfless. Others matter over myself. Many say this is a good thing, but unfortunately, sometimes it DOES bite me in the behind.
Wait a second, "report them for poor play?" Jingles... We ain't talking about somebody going AFK in ranked, nor are they just bots. They made a misplay, as your pal quickybaby is so fond of saying. Not only that, but just how the hell is a player supposed to trust ANYONE that they don't know to render good advice? Given how salty and troll filled WoT and WoWS are, how often do you think some armchair admiral tells people how to play, only for it to go pear shaped. P. S. I got a good chuckle out of your lambasting of the Daily Mail. However, as I regularly read several different UK and US papers, not one is objective journalism. I'm reduced to reading the Daily Star and wondering when Camila will have Bigfoot's baby...
Love the Daily Mail headline reference, and agree entirely. Maybe one from The Sun next time ? The possibilities are endless. Keep the WoWs stuff coming - very entertaining accompanied by your dry humour.
This was by far the best and most intelligent play and absolute hard carry I have seen in a Ranked battle.. His moves are just the moves I would have made and I praise this man for his incredible play.
Might want to double check that. Actual Japanese people pronounce Japanese words quite differently from how guidebooks and conventional wisdom tell you Japanese is pronounced.
Just knowing the clan is enough for me. CREED is one of the best clans in WOW. It certainly doesn't hurt to look at who are the best players in the game and where you rank in comparison. This has saved me many a game in WOT just by knowing who the good players maybe on my team and the enemy team. You don't get there with out playing a lot of games and know what to do.
If that button even does anything... We don't know how those things are valued on wg end. Maybe it's just a placebo and it doesn't do shit when you click. But yeah you are correct it's meaningless, what does "play bad" even mean, according to whom? People that suicide on purpose, team damage / team kill, v that is easy to spot. But being bad? I really liked this battle, and the commentary of course!!)))) There are a number of lessons to be learned here. And ultimately, if you get reported for just pwning a team, sounds to me like you are doing something right, and take it as a compliment!!!))))
I don't know if anyone has pointed it out but concealment just blocks vision not projectiles cover blocks projectiles. Think of concealment like a camo net and cover is like bullet resistant glass. A lot of cover doubles as concealment such as an island, but concealment doesn't limit the number of people able to shoot at you if you are already spotted.
"You have an aimbot" Bruh, even if your aim is spot on 100% of the time the guns in this game will miss most of their shots. There is no point in an aimbot
Not at all - you may not be able to able to guarantee a hit, but it would sure be nice to be able to just click on an enemy boat and immediately have your aiming cursor perfectly lined up to lead that target every time and get the centre of the distribution as spot on as possible for the highest chance to hit. Every. Single. Time. Without. Effort. Or. Skill. And those things absolutely do exist, unfortunately.
@@stoneymahoney9106 There was, a long time ago, a mod that gave you a lead indicator. It did not actually make you anymore accurate because anyone who knows what they're doing already knows how much to lead and the moment you click the mouse, RNG takes over. Unless the "aimbot" gives you nat20s on all 9 guns for flawless dispersion, there's no point to an aimbot because your shells are still going to be wildly random regardless.
I will say. Dude had both epic aim and epic luck with those floaty ass shells, etc. When amazing RNG and proper decision-making meet, this is what you get. But lets all agree, some of those shots, esp with that aim reticule as well. Super nice and a hair lucky. Well played.
When u get Frustrated It's NOT always easy to "keep it for yourself" the amount of stupidity from other captains are occasionally just "too overwhelming" when "You" Play for the win and not all about the dmg or being the last man standing in the corner of the map! I know it's impolite to call others "Idiots" or " Special Snowflakes" but when u do it enough times especcially to Divs on the enemy team You Know u will get Chat Banned for a couple of days... Normally u can take it but when these "Special" Captains wants to be Carried over the Finish Line in the Ranked or Ranked Sprint where the Team needs all members to "be Useful" and u look at the Support u have in your DD U see a BB 20 km away from the nearest cap Circle, You just know that unless the other team mates or yourself have to do something risky or get Lucky to win the Battle, I get really "Salty" and sometimes the Salt spills "overboard". And the Most Frustrating thing is next Battle same Special Captains are still trying to climb the Ladder with the Same tactics! And if u say something constructing like " Get Closer so u can hit the ships in the Cap Circle!" The Tirpitz Captain replys: " I Have 21.4km range on my guns!" and is Launching his torpedoes towards the cap Circle. I know ppl Play the game for Different reasons but if u want to look at your ships in and out of Combat why are u Playing in a "Competetive mode" like Ranked and ruining the fun for the 6 of your teammates, who wants to actually climb the Ladder and want to get better at the Game? Selfish or Wanting to piss others off or really THAT Ignorant to the fact that It's always the teams fault when the team looses even if u loose 10 battles in a row with your same tactic? IMO this behavior is SABOTAGING The other Players without punishment! But If u say something u might get Chat Ban Hammered for insults.
My own hypothesis behind this sort of behaviour? Hate makes you high. The emotions fear, anger, and hatred trigger the flight-or-flight reflex, which floods the body with the same chemicals that crack does. Many people become addicted to this. They seek out stimuli that fulfill their need. Some watch the news. Some get into arguments on the Net. And some play video games.
As has been long known, hate puts the focus on others and helps to protect oneself from unpleasant scrutiny. Hate can also also be quite motivating, and serve as a stimulus to productive action. Your idea adds to this understanding, and helps explain anger that would otherwise seem completely irrational or self-damaging. To me it sounds legit.
Thanks for the video upload "ghostbuster" apart from an epic display of your gameplay expertise, this one video has taught me so much more about how i should be playing a BB... Woof woof 😎
If someone is giving advice in a nice friendly way I always consider it! As soon as you get the idiots calling everyone a noob or uninstall or the like and blaming everyone but themselves for a loss, they are reported and blacklisted. They have obviously learnt that behaviour from their parents thinking its what you do. Maybe they should try getting a job. WOWS toxic chat doesn't seem as bad as WOT ( yet ), and in WOT you can just turn off chat completely, but it would be nice to think we don't need to do the same in WOWS. No wonder a lot of people are giving up on Random and just playing Co-Op.
During this ranked sprint I were sailing one time in NC and managed to oneshot Edinburgh as soon as she showed up (shell travel time over 14 seconds). I was surprised by this kill and what happened in the chat. Literally everyone wrote "F" (press F to pay respects). That was one fun game. Even the player itself was not mad - only wrote 'nice shot' :3
In the early days right after closed beta, to be accused of being a cheater, of using some kind of aimbot or whatever, was considered the highest of compliments. It still is. The forums used to have a place to post your "hack-usation" and claim your props for being accused of being a hacker just because you're good. Nice to see it's still happening! Good game, ghostbuster!
I had a good chuckle over this one. SO many little crybabies in this game. I don't get angry over their insults and false accusations, I am _amused_ . Oh online game wankers, don't ever change.
Good point about being polite. I learned that the hard way tanking random 5-mans in WoW. If they don't respond to polite advice, they sure as heck aren't gonna respond to toxicity. I think people have this idea they need to be aggressive and shocking just to get people's attention... but it doesn't really work that way.

Winning or losing is all one organic mechanism, from which one extracts what one needs. LOL HHit Sappens
We fought Ranked Sprint in division with a Cleveland and a Massachusetts. We both got High Caliber and both of us sunk 3 enemy ships. After the battle both of us were reported by our Tirpitz which hasn't really moved the whole battle and was sunk, because we were campers. You could say I was somehow camping with my Massa in C (Map with C and B is part of B forgot the name).
my experience playing the north carolina has been that 3 out of 4 correctly aimed shots will splash all around the target without hitting it, while the final 1/4th of shots will bounce off and do less damage than a single HE salvo from a DD.
I completely agree, in a game you should keep negative comments to yourself (or just with your div mates). Not only does it label yourself as a toxic player to everybody else, but it also doesn't change what has already happened. One thing to note about ghostbuster's "suggestion" at the start of the match is its lack of clarity. "Don't leave A side" could easily be interpreted as hold/contest A, especially if they haven't had much experience in clan battles. Of course the Vladivostok might have already had ghostbuster on his blacklist from the start.
@@leiaorgana5098 Fair point. I'm not saying that it should be a bannable offence or anything, I just feel it's poor sportsmanship. This is one of the most complete replays you, Jingles, have ever posted. Great play from the owner, terrible mistakes from teammates but also politeness and rudeness in chat and all kinds of human behaviour. This feels so... normal, a classic game in WoWs :D
Anyway, I understand the concept of "insulting is pointless" but I can't stop feeling the CV player and his rage commenting.

Father to his son: " Son, World of Tank players came and started crying in anquish for days and days"
(legende has it that they are still crying to this day)
Once there was only land and tanks and hyperaggressive players...but then they started crying and cryed on for centurys and this is how the ocean came into existance. The players saw the ocean and some of them thought it was good, so they took warships and sailed away, became (a little bit) less aggressive and now this is world of warships. Still toxic and full of stupid idiots but a paradise compared to world of tanks

To solve this:
He just talked from the perspective of the enemies. In their eyes it was so disgusting, filthy and outright Nurgle himself that their brains melted in an instand to nothing more than sludge. I can understand that. Even after reaching the higher tiers, i'd come back down to the low-mid tiers to grind other ship lines. And when dealing with new players, i'd always approach situations with some tact, as i was always aware that they would not have too much experience yet. "aimbot" hits with one or two rounds out of each salvo, ok. *rolls eyes*
There is/was an "aimbot" mod, I googled it when someone in one of my matches was bitching about it too. Apparently all it does is put a lead predictor marker on your screen, it does nothing to alter the ballistics of the rounds it just shows a mark that basically says "If you aim at this point and fire and the target doesn't change speed or heading you rounds 'may' hit."
So it's pretty much for people who don't know how to, or want to learn how to, judge the lead on a target, it's a ToS violation to use and may get your account banned and judging from the comments on the website that hosts the mod it gets broken by pretty much every WoWS update.
So yeah "aimbot" I'd rather just learn how to aim, which would be easier if I didn't keep swapping ship lines, German BB's ballistics are a mite different from British CLs :D

Reporting someone for dying after following your advice is a pretty shitty thing to do, tbh.
It is always this kind of players. "Do this or I report you" then they get upset beacuse… they started out upset.
You can report someone for "poor play?" Seems very unfriendly to new players, and legitimizes toxicity and salt

It does the same thing as the thumbs down button in TH-cam.

Some of the titles of these videos just cracks me up.... Got to love Jingles man..
Besides, most plans tend to rely on the team but only really reward the player that came up with the plan
Now the title makes sense. Jingles definitely took philosophy and it shows Occam's razor is his favorite device.

This has saved me many a game in WOT just by knowing who the good players maybe on my team and the enemy team. You don't get there with out playing a lot of games and know what to do.

"You have an aimbot"
Bruh, even if your aim is spot on 100% of the time the guns in this game will miss most of their shots.
Text based chat is pretty bad IMO ... many people cant really multitask and look at both chat and the fight, so they miss good suggestions.

Thumbs down for the advice to report players "for poor play"...
Also the video title makes no sence.
or sense
I think I found the Vlad driver! ^^^

Whenever I get frustrated at a teammate, I will almost always just talk shit about them with my div mate(s). That way I get to vent my frustration without looking like an asshole.
@@thelastcookie23 fair point, i don't mind looking like an asshole, i say it how it is.
