First time I heard Vince/Kendrick rapping on a Sophie beat I had the same reaction as you. Goes so fucking hard. 4 legit GOAT'S on one track. RIP Sophie a true legend 💔
I honestly didn't know SOPHIE or this song until this video dropped but man was she/they ever talented... it takes a different kind of producer to make a beat like this and we lost SOPHIE way too soon. RIP
@@isaac2559 I love the album but it definitely has a much wider range of vibes. I want a rapper over 12 tracks of Ponyboy, Faceshopping and Yeah Right.
Maybe Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will be it 👀 Edit: I was more or less right. MMATBS is the closest thing to a Kendrick Lamar Yeezus we've gotten and I think that we'll ever get.
SOPHIE is on the production of this song, if you would like to hear more stuff like this I would HIGHLY suggest her album Oil Of Every Pearls Un-Insides❤️
It's a tough line to toe, I love surprise features, but some artists need credit for their work. Someone as big as Kendrick doesn't need any exposure from this, but smaller artists like Kucka on the same song could benefit enormously from their exposure to an entirely new audience. I've always thought it'd be dope for artists to have their album's features uncredited on streaming services for the first few weeks to keep the surprises, and then add the credits later after the songs have been heard
I think for like the first week or two they should keep features hidden so people can be surprised by the features then add them after so they can get there credit
I often come back and watch this, knowing full well Kendrick makes his grand appearance, just to get the same tingles Jon gets when hears this for the first time. Epic. RIP Sophie.
Great reaction! Yeah Right was the very first Vince Staples song that I'd listened to and I was addicted to this song for MONTHS. I did not go a day without listening to Yeah Right 3 times in a row. There's just something about Sophie's insane production coupled with the way that Vince bends his flow to the pace of each beat that is so satisfying and transcendental.
I had to come back to this video after finding out that SOPHIE passed away. I heard this song when it came out but never knew who produced it until this video and people in the comments were saying she produced this. Checked out her music afterwards and was amazed. Crazy feeling when you discover someone and they pass away a couple days later. RIP SOPHIE!
Please react to PRODUCT and oil of every pearls un-insides by SOPHIE (the producer of this song). She's one of the most amazing and experimental pop artists in the world.
I absolutely love people reacting to this track. Its priceless when people hear Kendrick’s voice. This may of been my favourite reaction of this song to date! Keep up the amazing work, Jon!
So happy you enjoyed this album Jon, I love Vince so so much. Such an underrated rapper and innovator. The variance of the sounds on his albums makes them so unique
Since you like SOPHIE's production so much, react to her Grammy nominated album "Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides"!! It's a very abstract and eccentric mix of pop, trap, techno, and electronic sounds. Insane production!!
flumeeee jon if you like this production you should check out some other rap songs produced by flume, like high beams ft slowthai, and how to build a relationship ft. jpegmafia
Absolute beaut of a reaction. No fat on it. Timeframe was geat, viewo was shorter than all the other drawn out ones. Subscribed and gonna watch ur other vids
My favorite part about this record (besides the beat of course) is the fact that Vince stuck to a concept and let Kendrick just go crazy. It worked better in this instance that they were not just trying to outrap each other
RIP SOPHIE
Such heartbreaking news 😢
so unexpected, only recently discovered her music too

Flume n sophiee
This song was magical, the production by Flume and SOPHIE, and Kendrick and Kučka as features were just the cherry on top
Whenever Flume, KUCKA, and Vince collab you know you’re getting a banger
I remember first listening to this song and being like "SOPHIE definitely produced this"
Production was trash asf 😂

Isn't it always 🔥
Kendrick always has fire verses
When I first listened to this, I lost my fucking shit when Kendrick came in. I legitimately was caught off guard so hard.
You crushing the can at the end of kendrick’s verse is my new favorite moment in reaction history 😂🔥🔥
This song solidified my interest into hyper pop and its sub genres.
The song was produced by SOPHIE, you should check out her other stuff
really? that honestly explains a lot haha that shit was sick
Flume is also on this track
@@fj8684 wtf I need to look at the whole list of who's involved

The look on Jons face when kendrick came in😂😂
R.I.P. SOPHIE, a producer of this great song
This album is timeless. Vince killed it
