- In today's video I will finish what I set myself out to complete nearly 8 years ago, that being, the lowest possible fire cape in the entire game of Runescape. This fire cape will be completed at only level 3 combat, otherwise known as the starting combat in Runescape. Therefore, I am taking on this intense Fight Cave challenge with the weakest of stats.

We developed many of these strategies together and figured it was best to come to an agreement to share this record before the attempts even began, finishing the caves together once and for all.

Is this possible to do now that Tok-Xil aren't affected by ring of recoil?
@@yayisnotasinger i don't believe xil's are immune to recoils, I think this was a temporary bug I saw somewhere or came across years ago in game chat as well but when using a normal recoil it seemed to be fine.
@@RendiMento Ah, maybe it is just a bug? The reason I ask is because of By release Episode 32 at 16:45, I saw it appear in chat and they were talking about it. But then, when I was trying to research the matter, it wasn't listed on the wiki, I couldn't find ANYONE talking about it in any forum so I figured I'd ask.

Petition to make this into the Guinness world record book for Gaming. So the Runescape can show that it's still a good game and not that it WAS a good game.

There's nothing stopping people competing for lowest xp or lowest total level.
It actually costs quite a bit of money to get them to verify video game records but it is possible! If you don't want to speed up the process by paying alot you'll have to wait about 2-3 years to put forth an entry unfortunately (this is to have them actually respond).

@@apophis456 regardless of this being a video game that's still a lot of dedication to a single task and something that outside of the game is otherwise meaningless. That's a level of dedication and devotion that not many people are able to maintain. Yea, I'd say it deserves some respect. Maybe not put it on your resume kind of respect but still the feat needs to be acknowledged and respected.

After returning to OSRS for a couple months and looking around at some TH-cam content, this is by far the most technically brilliant thing I've seen about the game. This is beyond just playing the game, this is digging into the code of the game itself and picking apart how each mechanic work under the hood.

Back in the day when I was struggling to get the firecape on a level 90ish account I never would've even dreamed of seeing a level 3 with a legitimate firecape.

Seriously, 3 combat is such a good place. You and Xzact have been battling for the last few months, and you 2 getting it at roughly the same time, with the same tactics, and learning from eachother is such good sportmans ship. Seriously good job to the both of you!

@@draximusmeridius7553 Seems like it was Xzact as he said "Rendi got his around the same time as me", but in Rendi's description, it seems like they agreed to share the record, as they began the attempt together, and probably planned the final lvl 3 strats together.
It was leaked that xzact got it first but they are sharing the record. They wouldn't have gotten it without each other
@@countzulu99 One could argue that it didnt really matter, it was all down to who could do it first without failing. Worst case scenario would be if one or the other, failed to do it for several days, after the first one were done.

You guys both legit BROKE the game. Anyone that has ever attempted a low lvl pure fire cape can attest how difficult it is. Doing it on a lvl 3 is insane. The old-school team NEEDS to put a statue of both of you as lvl 3s in the entrance of the fight caves...we now MUST see a low lvl inferno completion. Great job guys!!!

Well, to do the method you'd need a ring of suffering which requires quite a bit of things. Namely, Monkey Madness (which gives you combat xp) in order to turn a zenyte shard into a gem. Not to mention the amount of crafting you'd need to do, and the chance of getting a zenyte shard to begin with (I believe you need to get a high slayer level, not to sure). Obviously there are methods to get slayer level up without any combat, and you can get crafting up. But you'd still need to complete Monkey Madness, and probably Monkey Madness 2.

i made my acc about 5 months ago, and when this video first came out it inspired me to take on the challenge of getting a fire cape myself at 96 combat. finally beating jad, i felt just a rush of accomplishment i dont think ive ever felt from a game. thank you rendi, i cannot tell you how many times i had to tell myself, "just imagine rendi's grind." i cant even imagine how you must of felt when YOU finally beat him. having done it at my level and it being such a struggle, it truely makes this feat feel insane.

That’s why if you look carefully when he’s bank standing he is holding a bow presumably with no arrows in the quiver so if he accidentally clicks on a monster he can’t attack

In conclusion: dont compare them, woox didn't go for lvl 3 FC, Rendi did. Rendi didn't go for WF Solo Raids 2. Woox did. They are both awesome and both deserve special recognition from the community and Jagex

What was supposed to finally be a challenge for high-level players is now a volcanic embarrassment. Poor Jad, probably getting bullied by his subordinates now.
He just used a ring of suffering to recoil everything to death. It would take a very long time and be very expensive to kill jade that way
I quit RS in 2013, but sometimes come to see a few videos. Watched this and all Lower The Better videos, very very impressive.
Each new video you guys posted, I would think; "There's no way it's possible to get a lvl __ firecape. It must be some clickbait or meme video". Then I proceed to get blown away by how crazy and ingenious the strategies are. It's truly amazing what both of you have accomplished.
