Baby turtle hatches in Costa Rica

On Playa Minas, in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, a baby green turtle digs out of its sand-covered hole and makes it's periolous journey to the sea. Luckily, we were there to stand guard to ensure baby gets to the water safely. However, few baby turtles make it past their first seven days in the sea - there are many predators. Be safe, little one!
