Loved the episode. A number of years agp Marshal Trimble gave a presentation on growing-up in Ash Fork. I asked him afterwards if he remembered “The Ash Fork Mercantile “. He smiled and told me several stories about how kind the owners were to little kids and how much fun they had upstairs watching people shop. Then he stopped and asked how I knew about the store. I told him the owners were my grandparents. He bowed his head, put his hand on my shoulder and somewhat tearing up, said they were wonderful people. I said they were. I walked away with tears coming down my face as I had another link to Myrt and Fred Boyd

Every story is just an adventure. You have such a masterful way of weaving a tale Jack. I'm seriously beginning to believe, that you, Hank and the late Charlie, are the real Treasure of the Superstitions.
    Respect.

I agree that these men are the treasure of the Superstition Mountains, but seems like we might be missing one other man who was also a former police officer but I can think of his name right now. I'll always remember and miss Charlie as it was him who introduced me to the Mysteries of the Superstitions! Just remembered the "other man" I was thinking of is Larry Hedrick who opened this video!

Good morning sir thanks for the lifetime of hearing your stories! I was born in Scottsdale I have spent most of my life running through the Superstition Mountains mostly near Superior though. On my Grandfather's property . He owned the linemans house on the tracks just east of the Queencreek crossing. Hunted deer there since 1977 .. I was taught that the Superstition Mountains were worthless rocks without mineralisation. I found other things that I'd like to show somebody carvings giant statues, polished stones hidden pit mines that have been worked over and over and over again by different Generations. The carving of a Mustang head on a large Stone and Conquistador helmet. The same Hillside that this carving is on has Crescent moons cut vertical carvings into stone carved messages in Granite. I live in Apache Junction just answer me we can meet at Mickey D's

*Priceless Stories! My favorite entertainment.* 🏆
From childhood, I was always enamored with Arizona. I moved to Nevada in 1992 and traveled Nationally with my job, visited Arizona several times, finally taking a road trip to Flagstaff and enjoyed the excursion so. I lived in Nevada 17 years, just loved the desert, High and Low.
Had to leave and now am in a position to potentially move back to the area. Just trying to determine where I might enjoy experiencing.
This man really took advantage of his choice and must have enjoyed it all so ...
    God bless him
    Great stories!

A subject associated with my research and Ancient History studies.
Gain a Comprehension of this Law and You absolutely can walk right to that Dutchman Mine. I have no doubt, complete confidence in the Law.
Quantum Physics Science defined and validated. It was known in the Hermetic Principals in Ancient time, it was the foundation of the Teachings of Yeshua/Jesus. (Not a religion reference, rather an understanding of the law and the method of practicing the Teachings).
Now, those are 2 excellent resources.

Mr Waltz, you are such a great story teller. How do you remember all the events? I cannot even remember what I ate for breakfast.

Wish your books were easier to come by. The lore of the area makes for a rich life. Think of what you can say at a party. Some guy is bragging about what he has done. You can you explored, taught classes and worked in the Silver King. The hot shot day trader has nothing to top it.
