It is encouraging to see these men rise to the challenge, demonstrate integrity and ethics and move beyond the poison of the former situation.
A deep hard look into this grifter Jamey Noel bosses needs to be done. This was NOT done in a vacuum. He had bosses who for two decades, twenty years failed to recognize what this guy was doing? Yeah....it's either incompetence or conspiracy.
It's the latter conspiracy
@@markmoses7300 Sadly. you are likely correct.
Our local fire chiefs have started using black unmarked cars also. All municiple vehicles should be clearly marked unless undercover police cars
Where I’m at the police and sheriff’s department is using what’s called ghost cars as official vehicles. You can’t see the logo until you pass them
Since we don't have to sneak up on fires, having all government-owned fire/EMS vehicles marked only makes sense.
@@alparker2616 That should be illegal, no blackout or covery vehicles. Everything should be marked. Cops are not the CIA
@@kevinmoorejr.9418 I agree Ive teased them that it’s cheating.
Fire fighters with an NDA saying they can't talk about work?
Right there sounds like the dept does illegal stuff
Actually they are not allowed to talk about work because of the court case that is ongoing. After the case is done they can sing like birds. They do not want to jeopardize the prosecution against the former chief
They can talk about the crimes. Or, at least I suppose, criming is as much part of their job as couping is for a POTUS.
They just need to employ 6 additional fire fighters to crew 1 truck full time.
I wish them luck with their recovery and restoring trust in their community. You can have a million "atta boys", but having to recover from that one bad "incident" can take all that away. Keep the faith, brothers and sisters.
All government and emergency vehicles should be clearly marked by law. There is no reason for any of them to be driving around hidden. They are that ashamed of their job they need to find a new one.
It was new Albany township years ago and was dissolved over a misconduct involving minor girls . Let’s hope that will not happen again .
Firefighters with an NDA sounds shady as sh..
you saw how they liked on those tax forms.
They don't want to mess up the current prosecution against the former chief
The whole time Noel was the biggest criminal of them all...trust me hes not the only one in Indiana like that
The rebrand was a good idea, but they will need to toe the line with out error.
It warms my heart to see someone use that expression correctly instead of "tow the line" like they are dragging rope around
@@Adiscretefirm Ha! Ha! Same here..
He knew who would replace him, long before that happened. Guess why?
If you are in a position of authority and your name is on paperwork, YOU are responsible. You can't blame everything on one bad guy forever. There must be checks in every organization.
Heck yeah brother! Especially when someone else puts your name on paperwork. Own it!
rewatch the video again, jamie noel was fraudulently putting the new chiefs name on the tax documents under the title of director, he never knew that jamie was doing this otherwise he would've gotten swept up into the fraud investigation as well
So that includes when someone forges your name?
Let me get this straight. His name was listed on tax documents with out his knowledge and in a position he did not hold but is responsible ? Cool let me take a loan out in your name .
Why does a fire department have to pay taxes? Ludicrous
Even if you don’t have to pay taxes you still have to do tax paperwork because you are employing people.
It is IRS Form 990 which you can download from the IRS. Basically it is requiring the entity to explain its nonprofit/charitable functions and how money was received and spent under penalty of law.
@@theVtuberCh that’s my point, that public emergency services have to do tax paperwork is ridiculous. What’s next, make the Army file tax paperwork?
@@warrenSPQRXxl auditing how public services spend their budgets is a comptroller function, the IRS is only out there looking for every penny it can squeeze out
@@jamesdc9595Did you read IRS Form 990? "Form 990 (officially, the "Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax") is a United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that provides the public with information about a nonprofit organization. It is also used by government agencies to prevent organizations from abusing their tax-exempt status. Some nonprofits, such as hospitals and other healthcare organizations, have more comprehensive...". It is exactly for Tax Exempt organization, i.e. those not paying taxes. Fraudulently signing such a form would be yet another misdeed.
"Prioritizing ambulance runs" is an example of fraud ? You don't think that ambulance runs might be prioritized because eight out of ten 911 calls to the fire department are for ambulances, do ya ?
They were lying saying they had enough firefighters to handle both fires and ems runs.
The fire protection contract gives them money based on what they tell them.
@Mrclean431 irrelevant. Giving priority of resources to the division that needs it most and makes the most efficient use of those resources doesn't equal fraud, and won't have an impact on how much money is allocated for the department as a whole. Its statements like that, which attempt to paint EMS in a bad light for the benefit the fire department (which while necessary, is only one-fifth as necessary as EMS) that make it clear EMS and fire shouldn't be conjoined services. Fire departments use EMS statistics to make themselves look way more useful than they are, and it's time for that to stop.
@@Megog You don't seem to be understanding the basics here. You should really think before you type.
They have 12 employees.
They need 10 to run ambulances.
They need 6 if there's a fire.
They're saying they have a fully staffed fire department.
What happens when they have a fire and medical emergency at the same time?
They don't put out the fire and send the ambulance.
Not a very functional or fully staffed fire department.
@adamyoung8289 still irrelevant. Prioritizing the division that does the most work isn't fraud, it's common sense. Now as to someone not thinking before they type, it only takes two to staff an ambulance. They'd have to respond to a minimum of three medical emergencies simultaneously not be able to fully staff the engine in case of a fire, and they'd still only be short two staff members. Basic math, three lives saved, one house burned down, assuming the staff members who were available to respond decided to sit on their hands instead of making an attempt, and more proof that the services should be separate.
@@Megog That was a hypothetical 😂 Go off man.
All I know is, I live in the South where ambulance services ARE separate from the fire dept depending on jurisdiction, and those paid by the ambulance services make $15-18/hr while Fire Department guys make $25+ IF they're not salaried.
Don't boo hoo when you get what you ask for 😂
Why does a public employee have to sign an NDA???
i love when americas heros stick it to us!!!
This is what happened why you hire, elect or appoint a DemoRat to any position.
Why would a Fire Dept have elected officials?
jamey noel is republican
This is why Ambulance's should have never been in the Fire service.
amen
But if they weren't, the fire department wouldn't be able to claim ambulance runs as their own and wouldn't be able to justify their inflated budgets, since 8 out of 10 calls to the fire department are for ambulances. Always follow the money.
