So cruel to hear a bit of my favorite Curve song (Cherry) at the beginning but not have the band actually play it. Thanks for the vid. I think Seinfeld would be proud of Toni's puffy shirt.
I actually LOVE the audio...-the video...not so much...but Toni's on FIRE, and that band is cooking, too, especially the drummer...THAT'S how this type of music should be played, it's not easy...they always had great drummers. This is a really good representation of how powerful and raw they were live. It's extremely rare finding good live footage of Curve. I have some good close up footage I shot and uploaded a LONG time ago, right when TH-cam started out, that got deleted, I should try again...anybody give a shit?
She such a doll here such a pitty that time spares noone you think when you look at the video with her that was released two year's ago but what can't be taken away is her mega talent in music
Ok so this sounds terrible but I was there and really enjoyed their set! Toni sounded fine and the overall sound was excellent. So maybe I was mashed but this is so far from how I remember that performance.
I thought they said they were hammered and out of it when they played Glastonbury. Edit: Oh, you've got it in the description, hah hah. Was she referring to one particular song or the whole set?
Not even close, but Flood's distinct production in the early 90's could be heard all over the place. Of everything he produced, Curve's output is still my favorite.
@@johngarcia273 i think they mean the mix more than the sound quality. it's almost only drums, sampled bits and vocals! you can hear a little bit of the guitars and bass, but some songs not at all. it's a really odd mix. maybe from the board, and the amps were so loud they didn't put them thru the mains much...
about 30 minutes they turned up some of the other stuff, but barely in the first part. horrorhead's vocals sound kind out of tune.... urk! they were a great band live though. always a good time.
its a festival and curve had a technically complex live setup for the time with the backing tracks and loud guitars. with a lot of scrambling around with festivals, there probably was not a long changeover between artists and in the age of analog mixing boards things took longer to dial in. their on-stage monitor mix was probably suffering even worse than the audience audio. i wonder if their usual sound tech was working or if it was someone at the festival that mightve been unfamiliar with their music.
I’m convinced the only thing live here is the singer. Maybe the bassist since he is one of the studio writers. The drummer and both guitarist are not playing the exact parts heard. Anyone else getting this vibe?
¿Y qué más esperas? Si estaban recién comenzando a realizar conciertos en vivo. Desde mi percepción, se mandaron un buen show, de hecho ella menciona que tocan una canción que la crearon hace días solamente (Falling free) y se escucha muy bien.

Look the talent of curve has never been deplocated period
This mite not sound the greatest but I've watchd her live and they pack good shows this one was altered as it mentions .......
I miss curve
There's a lot of raw energy during this show. I have no complaints about this

Hell yeah, I‘d love to see that
Do it!
I remember how much they moved me seeing them live true
They moved me watching them live
Did you?
Ha. Toni's guitar on stage. I saw it on Letfield TOTP.
I remember this. It was awesome. I was right at the front against the barrier.
Why are there so few live Curve videos?
A damn shame it what it is. : /
Thank you very much for this video!!! 🔥
I agree! A lot of their videos seem to get taken down due to copyright as well
5:00 Galaxy!!!
the drums are amazing !
I just love how Toni moves her body
Perfect. Live bands always fuck up. Well done for getting this!!!🤪

Es evidente que CURVE vuelve... Buenos Aires
best part at 45:34 , good job audience. Actually, GREAT Job

AMAZING. Has there ever been band with this sound?
There was a whole movement of shoegaze bands back then like My Bloody Valentine (who pioneered the sound in the late '80s), Slowdive, Ride, Lush, etc.
No.

Producer Alan wilder ( Depeche Mode)
With flood ( Producer of violator and Songs of faith an devotion)
The sound is really bad but if you know the songs it's a fine document.
Not rue sounds amazing on my Melomania 1+ earbuds you might need some maybe!?

@@fadedSF yeah thinking this as well, sounds like a board recording, those guitars are probably cranked on stage

NO.🤨
what is the first song? can't find it on their Bandcamp
The first song is Think and Act.
fait accompli can not possibly be from that concert, totally different sound
See the video description... Fait was from an official festival recording, that's why it sounds so good.
Patético sonido. Además Tony Holliday desafina cantando muchísimo. Una pena, porque el grupo es buenísimo. Pero ...Pero aquí son insoportables.

Bueno en la descripción Toni Halliday menciona que la cagaron en esta presentación
Not really
Great❤🌌🫶🎶🎶🎶Curve
