You should try reviewing C***crusher by infant annihilator. There's a lot to process in the song itself (and the band is fire too). They made an extra video for that song with only the drummer, and you won't be disappointed
New artist suggestion. You should check out the band Periphery and their drummer Matt Halpern. Check out his drum play throughs for the song”Satellites” or “Garden in the Bones”. He’s one of the best drummers out there. You won’t be disappointed.
I've seen this playthrough a dozen times at least and I still catch my self laughing like a psychopath out of admiration of the skill. It's soooo goood!
FINALLY!! YAY!! I suggested this for what feels like an eternity ago along with the "Clockworks" playthrough as well. :) Glad you're getting this one off your list. Im sure you werent disappointed. Thank you
If you want another great drum cam stuff like this, definitely check xenochrist by the faceless, the drum playthrough of thattrack is nothing short of masterful work. Similar vibes to this playthrough i think you would enjoy that as well!
14:03 I used to not really "get" what I was hearing, but since I found your channel, I learned a lot about what should I be paying more attention to, and where should my ears be focusing on... my listening skills have amazingly improved, it feels like some super power or something 😆. I've learned to appreciate music way more thanks to you man! And I keep learning with every video so keep it up 💪🎶🙌
Good shit man! You're Killin it with these reviews, new subscriber gained for sure! Love the taste in videos you're going after, it's all the shit that I listen to and love. Guitarist for 15 years .... Envious of drummers for sure. You guys have the most fun while jammin!
Gotta check Meshugga and Their drummer Thomas Hakke. And of course Gojira and their drummer Mario Duplantier....Then Aaron Kitcher from Infant Annhilator. Then wrap it up nicely with Dave Lombardo "The Godfather of double bass" from SLAYER!.
As a heads up Jason does all the symphonic scoring behind the tracks. I don't know if this will be recommended by anyone else because there isn't a video to them. But xiv 2.0 and behold 2.0 are the pinnacles of the album, and if you like the prog/multi theme song aspects of this music you should check it out.
Also, Luke Holland just released a new playthrough from him and Jason's new album for 'Polyrhythmic Pug' which is think is a drummer's dream track to break down
I've been watching Luke since his early days on TH-cam. You NEED to check out Matt Greiner of August Burns Red. He's got tons of high quality play throughs of his stuff 👌
This is really amazing. I have a suggestion, try "Ado - Tot musica" next please, you won't be disappointed. Music by Hiroyuki Sawano (from attack on titan) and voice by Ado who is an amazing new talent.
I wish you watch the original first and then instrument playthrough to fully disect it, could be in 1 video. 2 different perspectives would be nice. much love
New Artist Suggestion: An.Drums or Anastasia Sereda. Her Band she plays in currently is called Invertor. If you're into great cymbal and kitwork, groove and pockets, which you evidently are, check her out.

That crazy fill is actually somewhat easy to play for how awesome it sounds. It's 4 (hands) over 2 (feet) with different placement

If you could check out periphery that’d be awesome. Songs like “Reptile”, “Garden in the bones”, “Lune”, “Satellites”.
Chris Turner of Oceans Ate Alaska is straight programming mode
Dude’s having the time of his life beating on that kit xD
Truth be told
you gotta listen to Gojira soon! they have insane drums and bass.
Also, Luke Holland just released a new playthrough from him and Jason's new album for 'Polyrhythmic Pug' which is think is a drummer's dream track to break down
Definitely excited to hear that
luke is sooo good 😁❤️
I've been watching Luke since his early days on TH-cam. You NEED to check out Matt Greiner of August Burns Red. He's got tons of high quality play throughs of his stuff 👌
You gotta check out hos down or upside down by them! I think you’ll get a kick out of hos down! And upside down has Tim from polyphia
Mentioning it again, you NEED to check out Luke Hollands remix of Cinema by Skrillex, he’s done it twice so I’d recommend the 2017 release
Hey man i recommend to listen and react to Made in Abyss OSTS or Persona 5 OSTS. They are very cool.
I dig this stuff. :)
another drummer to check out is buster odeholm from vildhjarta!
This is really amazing. I have a suggestion, try "Ado - Tot musica" next please, you won't be disappointed. Music by Hiroyuki Sawano (from attack on titan) and voice by Ado who is an amazing new talent.
At least you can say you have better hair than Luke. Lol. The subdivisions and ghost notes are plentiful. Luke is a true craftsman on the kit.
I wish you watch the original first and then instrument playthrough to fully disect it, could be in 1 video. 2 different perspectives would be nice. much love
Should check out Heilung. Anything really from the Lifa concert
Check out more Luke Holland's cover.
Let me hear by fear and loathing in las vegas give this a shot
You should check out his playthrough of "Omni" w Jason on guitar
You ever get reccomended Octopath Traveler's OST? Great stuff from there, like Decisive Battle II
New Artist Suggestion: An.Drums or Anastasia Sereda. Her Band she plays in currently is called Invertor. If you're into great cymbal and kitwork, groove and pockets, which you evidently are, check her out.
Anika Niles, Benny Greb. just gonna toss those 2 names if you feel reacting to more amazing drummers.
Check Matt Maguire!! He's the drummer for the Chainsmokers. An absolute beast
Suggestion
You gotta listen to "K21 instumental" Attack on titan s3 ost, you won't regret
If you want a really fun listen, check out
- p00mbachu by Jason Richardson w/ Luke Holland
