    I own the canadian equivalent of this gun that comes with a orange tip. I have shot over 50,000 BB's out of it since I bought it two years ago. I would highly reccomend this gun for its reliability and ease of use. I got mine on sale for $125 CAD. Great video.

      How much shots do you get withe one co2 12g?

    • @thejayman1886
      @thejayman1886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@marcoborg Depends how fast you shoot it. If you are pulling the trigger as fast as possible you will get about 50 shots. If you are taking your time between shots you will get about 70. I usually only load 7 or 8 BB's in a mag to discourage myself from mag dumping. Considering that I can get about 50 cartridges for fourty bucks it's pretty cheap but it definitely isn't easy on CO2.
      If you do pick one up just keep in mind that the biggest pain about it isnt the fact that it uses a lot of gas; but because you have to constantly clean it after use, so that it doesnt start jamming on you. Also do not get one with a BAXIS hopup system its a flimsy POS that hinders performance more than any other type of hopup I have seen.

    I own this one. Overall it is a very good gun : reliable, ease of use, durable, compatibility with WE parts and accessories, beautiful classic design of world war era weapons, one of a few licensed airsoft guns by its actual gun manufacturer (Colt), and the last is affordable price. You can have it both as collectible and as for your airsoft game. I highly recommend

      I’m not a airsoft guy, but just browsing tonight, the First of the 1911’s were a walnut grip later changed to what people called “colt wood” AKA plastic for the war efforts cause of reliability in weather and mostly cost, but that’s been beaten into the bush by now!😂
      Hey… I noticed you said you wish could shoot a real one, I’d take you out for a shoot if you were in Utah!! Wish you guys the best! Thanks for the entertainment tonight! Peace!!

      @@bannanapancake I browse Utah and above all the most dust bowl states by google satelite pictures and street view. This is like holidays and I love all the old deteriorated buildings in all the small villages. I was totally amazed by all the well preserved traces of the settler and their cattle drawn wagons going to the west. Especially the Santa Fe trail/ Cimarron cutoff where you can follow the trail from satelite view down to Santa Fe. Btw. Shooting guns in germany means having a permission and being a member of a gun club. Not really difficult to obtain but rather unpopular since ww2.

      @@rainerwahnsinn9423Other than having all the modern conveniences and tech, these western states still have a lot of history from those time periods just laying around, I recall a story of a Winchester rifle being found just leaning up against a tree somewhere in Nevada if I remember right, don’t recall how old it was, but it was a cool story/picture for sure(just google old rifle found next to tree Nevada, should pop up)
      There’s a lot of everything being talked about guns these days. I own quite a few, most of mine are historic, I own a m1 Garand, M1a, 1911’s, 1863 Springfield (civil war) and a host of modern firearms we go out to the dessert to shoot. I don’t have any inclination to wanna hurt anyone or be hurt either. I admire them for the entertainment, history, and the fun times it brings with family and friends. Looks like you guys a having a good time what your doing! Keep at it! Nothings better than keeping friendships alive no matter what it is or what the circumstance is.

    • @tomthegiant01
      @tomthegiant01 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mondaymotivator_ Well, you have WE Tech and you have AW (Armorer Works) which is the premium side of WE Tech so all mags from them will be usable (1911). As for the green gas, as the 1911 is full metal (excluding grips) so the gun can handle the pressure of green gas. Plastic Airsoft pistols is what can get damaged. Also, Green Gas has a bit of silicone oil in it which actually helps partly lubricates the slide. I have the Cybergun Colt 1911 from AW and that came with a Co2 mag but I use a AW green gas mag for it instead.

    I'm gonna buy a 1911 airsoft pistol of some brand soon. It will enable me to practice shooting from a draw without spending tons of money on live rounds of .45 ACP at the range. 200 rounds of .45 ACP = $86 while 10,000 bbs = around $20 to $30, add in another $30 or so for Co2 and I can shoot for a week! Too bad I can't find a licensed Kimber airsoft 1911 to match my real .45. Nonetheless, an airsoft 1911 will make an awesome practice tool and save me a ton of cash!

    I've got the Cybergun Sig Sauer X-five steel BB .177 gun. It's the worst shooting gun I've ever tried, less owned. I'm lucky if I can consistently even hit within a regular paper target at 4m / 5yds. Unfortunately I've also tried 3 models from Sig Sauer, that even can shoot pellets. They are no better. One could not guarantee hitting a soda can at that distance. What kind of precision can I expect from this gun, or maybe some other blow back soft air pistol? I'm looking to reliably shoot soda cans, preferably at 10m.

    • @DTWAIRSOFT
      @DTWAIRSOFT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most airsoft pistols should have no problem hitting a can at 10M consistently as long as you have a clean inner barrel and good quality bbs. The best out of the box consistency I have seen was with a TM hi-capa with a grouping of about 1.5 inches at that sort of range

    • @andersgrassman6583
      @andersgrassman6583 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DTWAIRSOFT Thank you for your tip! Those also seem to have a nice blow-back effect, which for me is the main point with this type of gun. But I still want to hit things. (My replica Colt SAA 7'5".177 with a rifled bore groups 3/4 inch at 10m, and for precision target work, I have non-replica airpistols.)

    Anyone have a clue about the upgrade potential on this 1911? Hop up unit, barrel, steel parts etc. Was thinking of getting this for a potential British WW2 loadout as the webley is a no go (supposedly 400fps) and the Browning has had a lot of pants reviews (crap hop up etc). Any advice would be much appreciated.
