We had to move some monster fish out of our 3000g tank to add some rescued fish. Arapaima and Phantom RTC were too big for their tank mates.

too many issues in the past with Nord for me to even think about ever using them.
Did you hear about the worlds biggest cylinder fish tank failing in Germany? It was likely the same issue as your big acrylic tank.
Cold and heat differentials are an issue with acrylic!

I don't know anything about fish or aquariums but I do build things and I'd suggest using a piece of wood or something to get more surface area under your clamps on that aquarium. Filling the water halfway is good and it will probably hold just fine but I think if you span something across it may take some pressure off the other seams and help keep its shape so its easier to repair later. I'm just thinking of all the sketchy things I've done to keep things together lol. Anyway I really enjoy watching.

Wow, that was just mind blowing, they have gotten so big... you should put insulation on the back and sides of the big tank for winter.. keep it a big warm..Jan and Feb are usually way colder months.

Yooo go look at that big 8,000 gal cylinder tank that bursted this morning in England or Germany and it was. Because if the cold straight all acrylic but because of the cold it had a small hair line crack.. and a 8 stories long tank high broke..check it out

this is an off topic but regarding Channaidae, Snakeheads, Of the 38 different species belonging to the Channidae family, only around 12 of them are considered invasive or potentially harmful, it would be nice to lift the ban for the other 26 species, or even the Dwarfs, maybe in the future Predatory Fins could get a petition going, I'm sure we could get over 300 thousand or more signatures. It's crazy all the species are banned and it's definitely not fare to hobbyists and reputable guys like you who I'm sure would benefit immensely
