The valuations are so high bc the upside potential is enormous. Energy and parts&services will continue to increase rapidly. Opening charging network to more or less the general public is a tremendous catalyst - longterm. sales figures, even if chinese ones, are due to macro-economic situation. not talking about FSD at all ...
Nothing you mentioned comes close to justifying a 580 billion dollar market cap. Not to mention the crazy valuations you Tesla degenerates believe it will reach.

I’m seeing TSLA bottoming at $138 there is strong support there. Another good support level would be the 200 day MA around ) $161.

Chinese new year fell on Feb in 2024 and Jan in 2023, which is likely the reason for the fall in volume for Feb YOY. Also, you're looking at one month in one factory. Need to zoom out and look at bigger picture.
"Lack of EV demand" only exists in America because American car companies can not make an EV at a profit (outside of Tesla) so that is the new messaging we are getting. That messaging started around 3 months ago, before that every car company was "all in" on EV's. It doesn't make sense for them to keep making EV's if they're losing money on every car they sell. There is no "lack of EV demand" in Europe or China.
TSLA stock price could definitely keep falling, but the pe ratio is so high because of its potential. I'm most excited about FSD opportunity, not even mentioning dojo or bots.
to be clear, people buy an EV over ICE vehicle if upfront cost was the same since they would save so much on gas and maintenance with EV. Tesla continues to lower their COGS every quarter and reflect it on their sales price to increase demand. Once their EV's reach price parity, it is likely EV demand will be higher than ICE. Meanwhile, other car companies can not make an EV for profit. What do think will happen then?
FSD v12 is now pretty much all neural nets with no programming. They put video in and the car drives better based on video training. No more coding meaning the speed of learning can improve my orders of magnitude. It is inevitable they will be first to solve since they have most compute and most miles driven data. Once that happens, each car will have opportunity to produce software profit margins.
IMO it will be an overnight thing where one day TSLA is low and next then 3x-5x in a very short period of time. No point in trading, just buy and hold long term.

Have you factored in that the Chinese New Year (the single biggest national holiday period in China) is in Feb this year, compared to Jan in 2023? During Chinese New Year season (which usually lasts for 2-3 weeks), China's most economic activities would grind to a halt as most people would travel back to their hometown and unite with family. In short - a pure Year over Year comparison on Feb data is not fair, as Feb in 2024 is different from Feb 2023 in terms of economic activity level.
Its a bit problematic to be honest, that you didnt mention one big factor why teslas profit margins are lower through 2023 until now, which is Chinas economy.
China is the primary buyer of EV´s, their current monetary policy and their housing industry is going through a crisis, which reflects on teslas sale numbers. It is nothing that Tesla has done, so you should actually buy the stock, since it is this low and its not the companies fault.
i am a model 3 customer and an unhappy one. Paid 40k after incentives only to get range anxiety, basic interiors and little savings even with solar. Thanks to Hertz and Tesla cutting prices... the resale value of my Tesla has gone down significantly and i have negative equity now!! This price cutting is not just impacting investors but also Tesla owners like me.

this is pretty skewed. chinese new year fell on feb. 10 compared to last year it falling on jan. 22. really tsla is mostly down cuz elon is a schmuck.
