After watching the video, he looks great. I'm pretty sure this is based off the figma Deku and he really could have been a regular figure in their line. Only thing I don't like about him is he's huge.
Eyy this looks pretty good. The revoltech one is around $70 where I'm at and this is $40. Wondering which one to get. I think revoltech def is a better figure but there's a bunch of accessories I'll prob never use like the notebook, note taking stuff, the different eyes. This moderoid has the essentials like the one for all effects, and it has the airforce gauntlets. Edit: I found out about this figure late. It's like $50 now. Hmm that additional $20 is probably worth it for the revoltech.
Received this guy a week ago, and I already put him together. But while I was putting him together, the mask part was REALLY THIN. When I tried to attach it to the back mask part, the sides of it broke. I did however manage to improvise to make it seem a bit better. Though that the white shoulder pads are now gone from my figure, mine’s still seems decent.
Can the hands be plugged into the Revoltech Deku's wrists? Or do they need to be sanded down or modified? Would have liked to see them put on the Revoltech Deku instead of a side by side -I don't mind the big hands since Deku is always shown with big hands when he has gloves
DAMN! I'm glad that I preordered this on another site! He looks awesome but I was already trying to keep my mindset more of the "this is a model kit", instead of the "this is a high quality action figure". So I'm not sure what to think atm... I'm excited since he looks so good, but I want to be able to plug in the effect pieces n all that
I just built this yesterday and I'll say that I just glued the upper arm joint because that peg is WAY too short to be kept in. You might be sacrificing a point of articulation but he's really stable now after doing that and he's still fun to pose imo. Also yeah I glued the pockets too cause that shit was annoying.
I have the figure itself, and I have the same problems myself. Another problem the figure has is that the connecting parts, if not properly placed, CAN BREAK. I too had to use super glue about 5 times mostly on the mask on the figure. I'm also gonna complain about the paint; IT'S SO PLAIN. The paint on the figure is so bland that I used black paint to make it look better, which worked out. Anyway, that's all I'm gonna say..
This looks like figma deku, even though he's shoot style deku. Looks really weird tbh. Shoot style has a much smaller head and much more beefier body. If it were early deku that would've been much better.
If you want deku from season 3 pt 2 - 6 pt 1 revoltech is the best but if you want deku from season 1 figma is your choice but if you want him with the air force gloves buy custom parts for the revoltech or get the model kit

Yeah they definitely took a lot of notes from figma and improved on the outfit by adding the airforce gauntlets.
